Thursday I was put on bedrest and told to take my BP 4x a day. Sat and Sun I had a headache that wouldn't go away and some high BP readings so the dr had me go into L&D. They admitted me around 4pm, started me on magnesium and then I was having contractions 2 mins apart naturally so they left me naturally progress. I was having back pain and they wanted to start pitocin so I got a epi at 5am. Crap hit the fan and my high BP plummeted and they had to spend 2 hours trying to stop me from passing out from low blood pressure and throwing up. About 8am Monday I'd only progressed from a 2-5 so they broke my waters And started pitocin. I had made no progress still and baby was showing signs of distress by mid afternoon and they started discussing a c section. Around 5 I told them I had so much pressure I was sure I was close and they didn't believe me but humored me and she was right there. No time to set up the delivery table, 2 pushes and she was out! Olivia Faye born 1/18 at 5:24pm! 6lb 7oz and she is terrifyingly tiny compared to our two year old boy lol
