So I have seen previous posts or read things where previous pregnant women talk about the weird sensation when the baby was pushing on their cervix, etc. Last night at the dinner table I was startled to say the least when I felt like something was literally trying to come out.. "down there". SO looked at me funny and I can only imagine the faces I was making. It was super uncomfortable and I seriously felt like her little foot was trying to kick out. So needless to say, was this a dance party on my cervix? Is it too early to feel that at almost 23 weeks? Has this happened to any of you yet or in the past? I am all about her movements and love feeling them.. but this one was very... strange!
Re: Dancing on my cervix?
Still better than futurebaby using my intestines (stomach? I have no idea, but it's hitting something that makes for instant nausea) for a punching bag though. I've learned the hard way that it's not a good idea to eat any snacks right before reading time.
Off topic, but I just wanted to say that I love that @Merciel calls the baby futurebaby. When my husband proposed he gave me a few little gifts that signified our path in life together, and one of them was a baby doll that we called futurebaby. Actually, futurebaby was concealing the engagement ring in his box of baby doll paraphernalia. When I found out I was pregnant, I put futurebaby in a onesie that says "I'm new here" and put the positive pregnancy tests (I know, gross, I peed on those) in his hands. And every so often these days, we make futurebaby cry a little around our dogs to get them used to the sound of baby cries...whether or not this is working to acclimate them or it's just hilarious to us remains to be seen.
Slightly more on topic, my baby drags his toes, or something, along the top of my bladder and it's not pleasant. Nope.

19 weeks and the baby is literally sitting on my cervix and won't move. Not painful, just extremely uncomfortabe. To early for this.
Feels like she is going to fall out, for two days now, but my cervix is completely closed.
