Baby is sick for 1st time...

LO picked up his 1st cold from daycare this week. Last night sucked, he was crying inconsolably. His fever is low grade and he is still eating so I haven't called the doctor. I gave him infant Tylenol and he is doing better. I know kids get sick a lot since they are building their immune systems, but this is our first bout of sickness and just wishing I could be sick for him. :( Anyone else's LO get sick for the first time yet?

    My lil guy woke up with a snotty nose this morning. This is his first time with the sickies too. :( Over all he's been pretty good, although he has been a little clingy and has been sleeping a lot of the day. I hope they fluff up soon!

    My little girl got a stomach bug from one of our Christmas guests and she couldn't keep anything down for about 24 hours. I was so upset and then I got it...hang in there mama!

    Our little guy got RSV on Christmas. It has truly been the gift that keeps on giving. He has a nebulizer for when he needs it and that's all they can do. He's been to urgent care, the ER and his pediatrician and they've all said just keep him comfortable and it could last weeks to months. Thank goodness he is finally starting to feel better. Now just to get him back to the amazing sleeper he was before all this. Hope your little ones get better soon.

    My little guy got RSV as well and broncolitis it's so sad that at 13 weeks all we can do is use a nose frida and cool must humidifier. It's been over 2weeks and he sounds only a little better. It really sues keep lingering on!

    At 11weeks our LO had broncolitis too which turned into puenomonia. He made it one week into day care before catching it from another coughing baby. It was heartbreaking hearing him cough so much. I completely agree with you I wanted to be sick for him. One round of antibiotics and it went away, hopefully it doesn't come back because he's been coughing again.

    My little girl has been sick twice now. She caught a cold from her brother at 10 days then she caught another one when he got it from our Christmas guests. She's still coughing from the second one. We went to the pedi and they said she was ok so I just keep the humidifier going at night and use nasal saline as needed.
