I'm 26 weeks and have been experiencing very tender gums. I floss and brush regularly and can't get into dentist for over a month. It's very painful I'm also on antibiotics for ear infection. Has anyone experienced this what helps
Hormonal changes during pregnancy can cause inflammed bleeding gums. I brush after every meal and floss 2x daily (i work in dental) and i still have bleeding occasionally. If you notice bleeding then do a warm salt water mouth rinse, its a great natural antiseptic. When was the last time you had a clean with the hygienist? If you have tartar buildup the problem wont really correct itself until the tartar is removed.it is also safe to have during pregnancy but we recommend waiting till 1st tri is over (which i guess you are since you posted this in 2nd tri) hope this helps!
