burping question

Do you burp your LO if they fall asleep while eating?  This is the first time DD has actually fallen asleep while eating.  She's fallen asleep before, but right when we take the bottle away, she wakes up.  This time DH took the bottle away and she is just out.  I don't want to not burp her and she spit up a lot or get an upset tummy, but I don't really want to wake her up either. What would you do?

Re: burping question

  • I don't burp if DD falls asleep while eating.  I never want to risk waking her, and it usually works out where she doesn't burp or have gas.

  • I don't burp either, and half the time I do (when she's awake) she doesn't have gas, so I figure it's not that big a deal when asleep.
  • I do not burp him if he falls asleep.  I will take all the sleep I can get Sleep
