We ALL have judgements... It's pretty awesome when people can admit what they are... It is even cooler when people can still accept you for having those judgements.
Apparently there's no distinction here between respectfully disagreeing with someone and being straight up rude. Like I said before, it's too bad that your only source of fun and bonding is to tear others down. I understand that it's hard to admit that you're wrong when you need to look cool in front of your friends, though.
I'd like to know how you call someone calling us twats and bitches is a respectful disagreement. You are literally standing up for someone who just rolled up in here out of nowhere and started slinging names. That's not a respectful disagreement, that's backing an instigator. Try again
I miss everything ugh. I somehow missed the part where we are the bad guys?!?! I'm guessing the removed posts where super sweet supportive words of just awesomeness.
It started out as a respectful disagreement until everyone here decided to defend the bitchiness rather than admit fault. It's one thing to make a mistake by voicing a hateful thought, it's another to defend yourself and refuse to acknowledge in any way that you're being hateful.
Followed the bat signal over from The Dark Side so I could witness the mess here. I'd admit to drinking (yes, while parenting), but I'm out, GDI. Only 19 bottles consumed since June, 17 if I don't count the ones I had help with. This thread is a hot mess. I feel like I need to add to the judgements, though. +1 to the ultrasound pics on FB, no one wants to see baby genitals. Lots of WTFs to things like antlers on cars (no one effing cares), leggings on boys (leave the hipsters alone, FFS), messy houses (it isn't your house), and people that look like they lie about eating healthy (ever have a thyroid problem?).
I mean, come on. Judge something petty, like overspending on organic food and amber teething necklaces.
There's a big difference between being hateful and being judgey. Isn't posting in a thread called "I secretly judge" owning up to a certain level of bitchiness? No one here is dumb enough to think being judgey isnt wrong. We're just openly admitting the shit that irks us. You drive by posters are the only ones with your knickers in a twist.
We had plenty of respectful disagreements on others judgments. That doesn't even make sense. Good try though.
How is it that only the ones who left are the ones getting butt hurt and making this an issue?? We have had zero problems but thanks for coming back and saving these unnamed moms we are so mean to. They really needed someone like you to help them out. How sweet.
Well this talking in circles has really worn me out. If this is the kind of community you want, by all means proceed with your "funny stuff" here. I'm hopping back in my yellow car to drive to my cave where we have plenty of fun without the meanness.
Since this thread has been revived, I'd like to say that I judge people who end relationships, then drive by really late at night and obsessively watch the house and leave crap on the doorstep.
Oh my goodness... I thought at first the Bump was broken... 95 posts later... It's not broken I think I understand.
People came here and judged other mothers for judging other mothers... but only the mothers that were originally judging mothers were the bad judging mothers... because if you judge other mothers judging mothers you're not actually doing the same thing.
Am I right? Maybe I need to read it again... I must be missing something.
Also of note... Pretty sure that almost everyone who's ever posted recently had a contribution...
And.. I don't think anyone specifically judged anyone else... Simply admitted to what they judge in general...
Finally don't tell me that any human being has NEVER judged others.. Please let's be honest here... I judge those who are dishonest.
@wegrowsheep I "overspend" on organic food and use a baltic teething necklace. These things are important to me. So it's ok to judge people if you agree but otherwise it's wrong? How convenient
Edited cause I can't keep them all straight in the middle of the night
@janit368 Amen! Sorry I went to bed or I would have had your back earlier!
Come on though you have to admit those are actual poor decisions. Judging you is totaling acceptable where as making cracks about boys in jeggings is just bitchy
Hold up!!!! I know some rando didn't come on here and judge me for my Baltic teething necklace that came via Amazon yesterday. I slapped that necklace on baby and he was a new kid. His runny nose is gone today. It's either that necklace or the organic baby food. Not sure which.
Sad I passed out after one glass of wine. And to think I used to judge people who did that!
I love all the regular posters and several things ladies judged for on here I do, but I never once actually felt judged by any of you.
And how many of these did people admit to? No one really cares that I take DS out for donuts in pj's nor do I care some people may judge me for it. It was funny. Smh
And I'm not going to tag them to bring them back, but the comment about not supporting women with PPD/A really made me mad. They clearly have no understanding of this board or how much help I've gotten for my struggles with PPD and I'm not the only one. But obviously people with PPD/A aren't allowed to laugh, so this thread is terrible. *eye roll*
When you begin to identify your judgements and say them out loud you can actually have real relationships... And not just ones covered in sparkle and rainbows (unicorn kitties are of course entirely different). I was aware that some of my judgements might rub people the wrong way but I said them and look I am still here and still feel very supported and continue to hopefully support others.
I'm sure the people who are mad have left, but I would like to point out a few things as well:
1. @henrytviii is correct, this thread was just for fun. 2. Some really insightful things have come out of it as well (ie someone mentioned the juice bottles. . .then someone else mentioned their ped told then to do for severe constipation. Now we all have learned something. There are many more examples of this) 3. We are all competent adult women. We don't actually care if people judge us for looking a hot mess in public, or having a messy house etc.
I just can't figure out why in the great GBCB exodus you all would lose your shit when people came on and did EXACTLY what you just did yet, here we are.
And don't for a MINUTE use "guys this could be hurtful to those with PPD/A" as your excuse to come up here guns a-blazin'.
STILL SO CONFUSED.

Sorry for the poor man's siggy...ticker won't load regardless of how many tips I read.
This is all in good fun. These women have been here for me through fear of a c section due to a breech baby, a nearly broken foot with a 2.5 month old, PPD/A, pinched nerves in my back, and plenty of other stressful situations. We have discussed things and created meaningful friendships that have helped us to become better moms. Most of our dialogue has raised questions that have lead to us being better parents and spouses. The have helped me gather courage to get help for depression and anxiety, to come up with questions to ask my pediatrician, and plenty other ideas for helping me adjust to my new role. I don't think anyone has any right to come in here and call us mean or non-supportive. If you don't like what we have to say, don't read it.
No no, the lurkers are right. When I saw the judgy post about boys in leggings I looked over at my son and he.was.wearing.leggings. I promptly burst into tears. We burned the rest of his leggings in the backyard.
I overspend on food, but it's not even organic. It's Stouffer's Mac & Cheese. I mean, they just came out with a Garlic Parm flavor. How can I NOT stock the freezer?!
And I go to restrooms on different floors of my building to poop at work. Never the same floor twice in a row. And the cardinal rule: never my own floor.
@klkonwi Yes, it was sarcasm. Didn't burn them, didn't burst into tears either. He looks adorable in them. Just saying, we all have different opinions and contrary to what lurkers may say, I don't think anyone's seeing any judgement on here that's sending someone into a tailspin of negative emotions.

I secretly judge people who don't like unicorns...I mean they poop glitter and fart rainbows (with the proper moisture and backlighting, of course).
Eta: grammar is important
Don't bother @Mommaswizz. Stupid runs deep. They won't listen to a voice of reason

DH took baby duty and I just woke up at eleven.
I also over spend on organic food!
JUDGE AWAY...
2nd round exp 8/20/18.

Have at me, ladies.
I can't tell if that was sarcasm or not.
Re: Stouffer's and pooping, that's all true.
