  Not always true about the contractions getting stronger. Are you leaking fluid now? You should probably call your doctor and see what they want you to do. And don't be embarrassed if it was just pee, it happens!

  I agree, don't be embarrassed at all! That is all part of this wonderful pregnancy journey haha. But I would definitely call and see what they want you to do because if it was your water breaking you don't want to go too long without going in.

  My contractions did NOT start after my water broke with my first. It took hours!

  I would call the doctor as well. I've had to call with some pretty embarrassing questions myself, and the nurse/doctor is never phased!

  Contractions can begin hours after your water breaks. If you think your water broke, I'd go get checked out just to be on the safe side.

  I never got contractions after my water broke with my son. They had to put and keep me on the highest dose of Pitocin. When I called the Drs to ask about my water breaking they told me to cough and if some more fluid came out, then likely my water broke and to go to the hospital. The OB triage confirmed my water broke!

  Definitely call the dr. I agree with PPs, sometimes they don't start or aren't strong after your water breaks. better safe than sorry!

  I think it may have been on the FB page. There was a similar post.. (Not 100% sure, but that's my only guess. I do remember seeing something very similar though)
