There are a few questions wrapped up in this one. DS is 13 months and my sitter fell through for my u/s today.
First, have you ever brought your LO with you to an u/s without an accompanying adult? It sounds like bad news. I don't want to put it on the hospital staff to monitor my kid because that's not their job, but SO seems to think they do it all the time. I can't be the only mom to ever bring my kid with right?
Second, have you ever had an early u/s last a full hour? We're barely 7w but when I was attempting to reschedule my appt the tech mentioned that it would take an hour.
ETA: SO wanted to come but got called in to work, so he won't be there.
Re: U/S: bringing LO?
If you can bring him, I would make sure he has quiet things that can keep him entertained so that its not as distracting to the tech, you want them to be able to focus on the Ultrasound and making sure they aren't missing something critical.

Good news though, I finally found another sitter last-minute, so all my stress has dissipated! I really didn't want to bring DS with by myself haha. Thanks for all your input ladies!
OT: how did you get a ticker like that?? I love it but when I go to The Bump ticker page they don't have that option
eta: I typed all that out before I read your last post. Glad you found a sitter!
I'm planning on bringing LO to as many appointments as I can. My OB is 30 minutes away, runs late, and changes appointments with little notice. Around me sitters cost $20/hour. I can't afford to spend $40+ every time I have an appointment, especially once they start happening frequently.
