Trying to Get Pregnant

Insensitive

I just wanted to apologize for being insensitive and not clearly understanding the atmosphere of the board. I was acting out of desperation and should have gone somewhere else. Sorry.

  • I'm not sure if you are still TTC or in your 1st trimester as per your other posts, but if you are still TTC, why dont you join into the new thread at the top of the board for intro's and introduce yourself.

I'd also recommend lurking around to see what's what here.

Also just also want to say we really did only give you the advice you asked for, maybe you werent sure what you wanted to ask?

  • You're more than welcome here. Like @babymish said, add an intro to the pinned thread at the top and jump into the daily WTO/TWW threads. But if your MO is symptom spotting and just wanting people on this board to say you're pregnant, you're not going to find that here. Plus your original thread asked for tough love and the sequel posts mention you getting "burned" by this board and now this post is called insensitive? It's so much MUD for no reason.

  • As others have said you're more than welcome here. Trust me when I say that a fairly large number of ladies here have been on the receiving end of some "tough love" at least once. Whether it was over a TOU violation back when new or later on over something else. So long as you don't mind the possibility of being snarked at occasionally you should definitely stick around. I've definitely learned a lot from my time here. And I'm seriously spoiled by the no-nonsense, factual nature of the board. I mod another TTC forum on another site and as time goes on I'm getting more and annoyed with all the ladies who are "late" but don't temp or anything to confirm they O'd when they think they did. Uhhh.. okay I'm getting a little off-topic here. :#

Back on topic! Basically, it's all water under the bridge. Stick around and start participating. No one is going to hold your newbie mistakes against you... at least not for long. ;)

  • It's better to just move on... people would've forgotten all about it if you hadn't posted a new thread.

Most of us have been taken to task over saying something stupid at one time or another. As long as you make up for it with quality posts otherwise, it'll be fine (unless you say something really awful, like wishing IF or a miscarriage on someone). Just jump in.
