I'm 12 weeks along, and while most of what I've read says you won't be able to feel the baby move until around 16 weeks, I swear I'm feeling it already. This is my second, so maybe I'm just more aware of it?
12 would be early for sure, baby is still so small. I was told 16 is pretty standard for 2nd pregnancies. I've seen other women post about feeling it earlier though.
Although all our bodies are different, I don't feel like you can legitimately feel the baby at 12 weeks. Given there are so many things going on in your body at this time, it could be a host of other things (gas, bloat, etc). I felt the first "for sure" movement at about 20 weeks and there was no question what it was.
what PP's said. baby is just too small with too much room in there. you can usually feel baby move between 17-25 weeks. some can feel baby move a week or two sooner, but not as soon as 12 weeks. sorry. almost there!

Everyone is an individual, but at 12 weeks the baby is still a little small. You might be feeling baby, but in my experience its usually just gas until quickening around 16 weeks. Even then it all depends on the location of your placenta. I had anterior placenta with both pregnancies that produced take-home babies. So, that made feeling regular movement a little harder. I felt DD around 20 weeks and DS around 16-18 weeks. So, you might be feeling baby (vs. gas) or you might have to wait a little longer. Either way it WILL happen eventually with a healthy pregnancy.
