Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? I'm excited to be nearing the end of the first trimester! Nausea and other symptoms are dying down a bit, and I'm excited to spread the word more widely next week.

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? getting over the worst tummy bug I have ever had in my life. The last 2 days have been torture. I have my first OB appointment today, so I will feel better when I hear my little buddy's heart beat.

GTYK: What have you found surprising about this pregnancy? nothing other than the amount of bloat this time around.

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? Still freaking out that I don't really have any symptoms other than being tired (I slept 10.5 hours last night and still had trouble getting up). Keep telling myself that my ultrasound a 6+4 looked perfect and nothing has changed since then, but will feel much better after I get to see baby again next Tuesday.

GTYK: What have you found surprising about this pregnancy? The no symptoms, I had no symptoms my first pregnancy either but it ended in a loss, so I guess I was expecting this one to feel different (again this just feeds into my PGAL brain).

I've been nauseous every day since about 6 weeks, and still get light cramping every couple of days.

GTYK: What have you found surprising about this pregnancy?
The symptoms this time are so much worse than when I was pregnant with DS. I think they're magnified because I'm home all day with him vs busy and distracted at work like I was last time. I don't know how I did it then with the exhaustion I have now!

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? My symptoms seemed to have lightened. Still really bloated and sore breasts, but not as nauseous as I was before.

GTYK: What have you found surprising about this pregnancy? This is my first pregnancy. The whole thing has been surprising! I was fully prepared to throw up but luckily I haven't yet!

My nausea has subsided just a little bit, which i saw a post about this might being from the baby getting more nutrients from the placenta and the hormones leveling out. it concerns me a bit, but i have my next appointment in 3 weeks, so not too long to wait before we can hear the heartbeat again!

GTYK: What have you found surprising about this pregnancy? how quickly the weeks go by! I've now known for over a month, and I feel like it was just yesterday. I better start getting organized, or I'll run out of time

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? Just tired, to be honest. Moody as well. But not really any sickness which is a blessing!

GTYK: What have you found surprising about this pregnancy? That I have to wait SO long to go to the stinking doctor. But, I know that is typical protocol. I'm just being impatient.

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? Still struggling with exhaustion and nausea. Had our first ultrasound on Tuesday and we got to hear the heart beat! It was pretty amazing! My Ovia app is now showing the size of baby's hand now compared to at 9 months so that is pretty awesome too!

GTYK: What have you found surprising about this pregnancy? First pregnancy and I have been pretty surprised how borderline debilitating the nausea and exhaustion is! The fact I have been able to do a load of laundry the week and keep up the dishes is amazing... every other chore is severely lacking. Plus my work at my job is suffering....

GTYK: What have you found surprising about this pregnancy? That symptoms come and go. I was under the impression I'd be a sick mess the entire first trimester, but some days are good and some are bad. It's interesting.

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? Well the gas/ bloat is better, but the nausea and acne have yet to clear up. I am really hoping the next few weeks fly by and I start to feel better soon.

GTKY: What have you found surprising about this pregnancy? Everything! This is the opposite of my first pregnancy. With my DD I had clear skin and only got sick when driving (this was controlled with preggie drops). With #2 I have acne everywhere and am diclegis just to function Also I had no idea that I could be this bloated in the first tri. Trust me when people say no pregnancy is alike they are telling the truth.

GTYK: What have you found surprising about this pregnancy? Just how different it is from my previous pregnancy with DD. I was only nauseous when I was hungry and then it would go away when I ate. This time nothing helps alleviate the feeling and nothing sounds good to eat.
