  We've been living in Naples for 3 years now but this is our first baby here so I don't yet have first hand experience. I've had friends here go the hospital route, the birthing center route, and the home birth route (though not all by choice!) and I still haven't decided for sure yet on which we'll be shooting for. It sounds like everyone is unanimous on the hospitals being terrible but it mostly depends on the doctor and the nurses that will be on shift when the time comes. I hear wonderful things about Dr. Miller though so I might be headed in that direction?
  
  My last baby I delivered at Breath of Life birthing center in Largo and it was such a fantastic experience that it's tempting to make the 3 hour drive!
