Where to buy comfy bras lol

I am in need on new bras I went up a cup size since pregnancy but I don't wanna spend a ton of money because I don't think they will stay this way. I've always shopped at Victoria secrets but I don't wanna spend that much because after I stop breastfeeding they will go back to normal I assume. The underwire and straps also irritate my and leave my skin red so I want some comfy bras. Anyone have any ideas on good places to get some? I checked target today but the target by me didn't have a big selection.

  • I've heard some great things about a line called Hot Milk. I think if you Google it you'll find the website easily. I think they're on the pricier side, though, but maybe worth it?

I just ordered some off Amazon but I guess they have similar ones at H&M. They're nursing bras, super soft and stretchy but they have good support (for me anyway, I started at a 36B). I sleep in them right now for the support since mine are finally growing and they're sore if they're not contained lol

ETA: Here's the ones I bought...

  • Motherhood Maternity had had a few sales on bras. Go in there and try them on, then wait for a sale. I got some soft Jessica Simpson ones.

Also, Google post pregnancy boobs...since I'm pretty sure for a lot of people they don't just go back to normal.
  • I got the iLoveSIA ones from Amazon (3 pack Nursing soft bras) and some similar ones at H&M. I also purchased a couple soft cup, wireless ones at Target so I had some ones that still gave me a little shape and support. (I went from a 32 B to a 32 D and I know the growth ain't stopping). All of these are super comfy and making my life so much better. I may never go back to underwire.
  • I need help plus size mommies. I'm a 38 DDD pre pregnancy and it's very full now. I'm trying to find something wire free because I swear every bra tries to stab me with its wire. I have been trying to find bras at target, Walmart and my local department stores. They don't carry anything big enough. Please help me find something comfy to contain these.
  • I went from an A to a C. I bought some seamless clip down nursing bras at Motherhood Maternity and I love them! So comfy!

I usually have the opposite problem, I need lots of padding and underwire, but I was looking on the Bravado website yesterday and they seem to have bras for every size. I've heard great things about how comfortable they are but haven't tried one on yet. • I wear a 34-36 D-E normally (take that with a grain of salt, I haven't been properly fitted since before my last pregnancy, but that's close to the right size), and I liked the Hotmilk nursing bras and one by Panache for style and also decent (non-underwire) support. If you are planning on breastfeeding, there's nothing wrong with buying a few nursing bras ahead of time and wearing them in the meantime. I've been contemplating digging mine out of storage because I'm seriously about to burst my regular ones.

  • I was a B pre pregnancy but already a C and I'm assuming they will get even bigger. Did they go back to pre pregnancy size for a lot of you ladies?

  • Don't assume your boobs will go back to pre-preg size. They could just as easily end up bigger or smaller. The shape probably won't be the same either. Right after you stop breastfeeding they might feel sort of empty for a while until your body starts storing fat in them again and they round out.

Get yourself good supportive bras for whatever size you actually are. If you decide to get a few nursing bras, you'll probably get good use out of them later. You'll probably need even bigger ones when your milk comes in, but after supply is established or after a few months of nursing, they will deflate again. :)

  • @alcermack Have you tried Cacique in Lane Bryant? I was a 38DD and just went up a cup size there and I have been fine so far. The ones I have are underwire, but I know they have some that aren't.
  • @alcermack Check out Soma. I got a nice unlined no underwire bra there as well as 2 comfy lined underwire bras. I bought maternity/nursing bras hoping they will last me. They have a sale going on some bras now, 2 for $58.

I've also heard good things about Soma.
