Needing some prayers

We were sent up to the hospital at our doctors appointment because of high blood pressure, once we got up here my blood pressure was fine but the baby's has had some drops that are causing some worry. They're telling us that it could simply be her playing with her cord so it doesn't necessarily mean anything is wrong but they do not feel comfortable sending us home. They're starting pitocin soon. Now I'm a nervous wreck. 39+3 today. Any prayers or good thoughts are appreciated!

My friend had an emergency c section because of a similar situation. Baby came out holding cord-that was the problem. She was completely fine and is a brilliant little toddler now.

Sending prayers! My first LO had her heart rate drop during labor. Long story short I had to get a c section and she was perfect! Soon you will soon be able to hold you LO.

Thank you everyone for all the well wishes!! We're dilated to a 4 now and they broke my water which started some extreme contractions so we just got the epidural, they stopped the pitocin because she's been having dips in her heart rate again, once she evens out they'll start pitocin again, they've got me on oxygen to help her get stable again. I cannot wait to meet this little sweetheart!

My dopplers have been on and off elevated for about 8 weeks now. They kept a good eye on him in case things progressed the wrong direction but he's done very well so far. It's one of those things that can show things aren't functioning perfectly or can be nothing at all- like you said baby playing with chord. Try not to stress, baby is coming and will be fine! Happy birthing!

*Update* we ended up getting an emergency csection because of her drop in fetal heart tones and once she was out I had a MAJOR panic attack, it was the scariest feeling ever! But I wouldn't give it up for a second! We had a healthy, beautiful baby girl!

Congrats!!! pretty much the same thing happened with my 1st including the panic attack after the section. I felt it was due to all the stress of the situation gating there. But, in the end you have your beautiful baby girl and get to enjoy your baby girl !!!
