Jude for a girl name? It's traditionally used for a male name, but I love it for a girl. Opinions?

I think it's terrible for a girl. I would assume you really wanted a boy.

Oh please no. If you really want to call your daughter Jude, name her Judith nn Jude, but there is nothing remotely feminine about Jude.

I have never once in my life thought this man was the least bit feminine:

I like the idea of Judith for a girl if you like the feel of Jude. Or what about Jade, Jane, Ruby?

Hahaha I definitely know who Jude Law is. And he does make it less feminine. @lalalorelai thank you for the input. Jane is one of my favorite names, and actually my mom's middle name. Buuuut my cousin is dating a Jane that were really close with, so I think that would be strange. Idk. I have some thinking to do!

Yeah I always think of "Hey Jude" which is about a boy. I do love the name Judith though, it was on my list when we were expecting. ( had a boy)
