Finally a solution. Bfing issues/gas

It's been a long 5.5 weeks with my babe. We have faced so many issues with breastfeeding and gas. We tried so many things

Babe couldn't latch
Milk wasn't coming in
Engorgement and couldn't latch
Supply was low
Supplemented with formula that highly disagreed with him
Worked with a LC and found out he has a tongue tie
Went to lactation group, weighed him before and after feeding
Scheduled clipping but for 2 weeks had to BF for 20 minutes and then pump immediately after aupplenenting with pumped bm or formula
Tried néw formula that still upset him
Got probiotic
Got prescription that helped him pass his gas
Tongue tie was clipped
His latch that had improved went out the window
Major nipple pain

All the while my babe would be scream I ng all day every day and not content. This is so discouraging and sad.

Well last night we ran out of brEast milk and opened the soy formula. Well praise God it doesn't disagree with him! I decided to pump exclusively and give him this formula from now on. He is a different happy baby!

I just wanted to share this. As a ftm I had no clue about what breastfeeding entails. I felt so defeated. After trying so many thongs we finally have somethING that works and have things in place to relieve his pain and get him the nutrients he needs. He was having su ch a hard time but now FINALLY he is doing better.

For those facing issues. Keep trying you will find something that works for you and your babe.
