What's new with baby? Hopefully getting into a head-down position. She was transverse at last week's appointment.
Appointments? Next week--2 more bi-weekly, then down to weekly!
Any new preparations for baby? After searching for glider covers, and asking sewing friends if they'd be willing to help me cover the old seats (no bites on that front), I just bought a new rocker/glider last night. We will sell the old one for what we paid ($40 on Craigslist), so it will be like buying a new one for $50. Not out too much.
Symptoms/Rants/Raves/Cravings: Sleep is getting marginally better...knock on wood. Taking Zantac twice a day to stay ahead of the acid reflux and heartburn seems to help. Very uncomfortable sleeping at night though.

Unsolicited, DH bought me a "Mother's ring" last time with both boys' birthstones. I cried! At the time, he told me it could be expanded to fit more stones. I'll remind him of that, but I'll wait to make sure this little one will be born in March, not February.

What's new with baby? Growing, moving and developing

Any new preparations for baby? We are in the home stretch of getting the nursery together. We pretty much have everything we need, it's just a matter of getting it finished.
Symptoms/Rants/Raves/Cravings: Baby likes to stretch out into the right side of my ribcage at night so that is pretty uncomfortable, plus the ongoing hip pain while sleeping but that is about it. I am actually feeling pretty fortunate that it's been pretty easy so far.

I have mentioned what a push present is to DH and he kind of scoffed at it. Definitely not asking for anything, but obviously I would be happy/surprised if he decided to do something little for me. I keep dropping hints that about a pair of Nikes I really want lol.

What's new with baby? Had an appointment today and baby is back to breach so the horrible pain/back ctx I was feeling over the weekend and then harsh movements was from him flipping. I have homework to do the spinning babies work. Happy to report I'm still at only +15 for weight gain thanks to stomach flu in second tri. Definitely looks and feels like more than what it is

Any new preparations for baby? Finally got all of the nb/0-3M clothes put away. Crib mattress comes Thursday.

What's new with baby? all 5 senses are go, pretty sure he's transverse right now - feet on my left side, head on my right
Appointments? I was supposed to have one today but cancelled because of the blizzard we got last night. Rescheduled for Friday.
Any new preparations for baby? I'm finally starting to feel prepared! The clothes are washed and put away, most of the last minute essentials are bought. Still have to do some research on a pump, wash the Boppy cover, and do a few more last minute things.
Symptoms/Rants/Raves/Cravings: I have an intense pain at the top of my butt. I've tried googling and think it's either my sacrum or illiac joints. I can hardly walk it hurts so bad! Going to the chiropractor on Friday again. We'll see if he can help me.

I'll be buying myself a Belly Bandit to wear postpartum, and I'm also going to get a "new" car, but we're hoping to sell my old one for as much as we spend on the new one, so it's not like a major expense. Just need something that will accommodate 3 carseats a little better!
@skruhmin - I did the spinning babies with DD2 and it worked like a charm. I looked like a dork leaning off the couch with my elbows on the floor and booty in the air, but it achieved the desired result!

Oh my gosh! If I even mentioned this, my husband is so old fashioned he would probably laugh at the phrase "push present". We aren't big on gift giving, so it's not a big deal.

My mom and dad surprised me with a necklace for Christmas of baby feet with LO's name on one foot, then will take it in to have his birth date engraved on the other one so I'm not really expecting much else (pic of what necklace looks like below).

What's new with baby? Just feeling bigger, she’s about to start packing on the lbs.
Appointments? Next Monday, and I’m on holiday that day so dd1 will come to appointment with me – she hasn’t come in a few months.
Any new preparations for baby? Basically prepared as well and I think I can be. Packed a bag/list of what else to throw in for hospital. Some of the items I didn’t have so I wanted to find them in store before my date gets closer.
Symptoms/Rants/Raves/Cravings: I had a few terrible nights sleep and my sleep schedule is off a little in general. I think it’s because my husband is constantly turning the heat up. Transitioning my duties at work, UGH, I just want to avoid it.
Questions? Any STM+ moms care to share their weight gain history as far as what they experienced up to 32 weeks compared to after 32? I’ve read a lot about it, I know everyone is different, and baby is doubling/tripling weight these last few months. I was just curious about some real life experiences – not just the numbers but if you felt you had it under control or your body just did its own thing, etc. I have documentation and pics from my first time around, but I know it was terrible so I don’t even want to look or think about it going that way again.

My gift will be him agreeing to run to the hospital cafeteria for the yogurts they make (gosh I hope they still have those) on my command! My husband also knows I wouldn’t hesitate to go out and buy any jewelry/clothing/mom or baby gear that I wanted.

No. The healthy baby. I didn't ask for a push present from DH for the first kiddo, although we joked around about the concept. I wasn't expecting anything at all but he totally surprised me with a bracelet. If he gets me something, that will be nice, but not expected or needed.

What's new with baby? He's for sure head down, getting ready!! I'm pretty sure he has like zero room because I have more days where I don't hardly feel him compared to days he's constantly moving.

Weeks/Size: 33 weeks (tomorrow)- size of a Durian (wth is that? Never heard of one lol- but man is it ugly!!!)

What's new with baby? Baby is now a whopping 4.2-5.8 pounds (hoping on the smaller side of that myself lol) and is 17.2-18.7 inches long. As of tomorrow (Thursday) I will officially be past the point of my previous preterm delivery! yay!!!
Appointments? Today is my injection/doctor appointment. My next appointment is next Tuesday 1/19. I know they usually don't start cervical checks until 36 weeks but I'm wondering because of my previous history, and the contractions I felt last week if he will check me today?
Any new preparations for baby? My baby shower is Monday! My mom washed the baby clothes that I have (I don't have w/d hookups at home) but I'm still waiting on the crib and the dresser so I can put the clothes away! After my shower I will have to make a list of stuff I still need and get it together. I also have to finish packing my bags (so far I just have 1 pair of pajamas packed) and the diaper bag (baby clothes). Also once I get everything home from my shower I will be installing the car seat and showing hub

What's new with baby? Apparently he is measuring big (Doctor only measures the fundal height though so not based on u/s). In her words "he can get as big as he wants since you are having a c section anyway." He seems to be mostly transvers and still moving around a lot so I think my belly may just measure on the big side.
Appointments? Next week for another regular check up.
Any new preparations for baby? Starting to panic! Most likely will have c section in February so we are on the clock. I am starting to get things I will need for the hospital stay (we have a mandatory 90 hours post c section). This weekend Dh and I will do the nursery and in the mean time I am cleaning and organizing the house in general.

A little more organizing, then we'll repaint (white, we're boring) then do the 2 polka-dot accent walls. And finally set up our son's toddler bed... we need to transition him out of the crib ASAP.

Haha my husband loathes the idea of push presents, which was brought up by a friend of mine when she was pregnant. The fact that this is a thing and not something a husband spontaneously does bugs him. If we want something we tend to discuss it and buy it. I *may* buy myself a navy leather cCach diaper bag. A friend of ours is a Coach manager so I can get a great deal, and it's a beautiful bag post baby for work (it'll fit my lunch!).
Husband is bringing real champagne (none of this sparking wine business), smoked salmon and Brie for post baby snack : )

What's new with baby? She's loving pushing body parts out as far as she can which is both painful and entertaining.
Appointments? Ultrasound for growth next week and a normal 2 week appointment.
Any new preparations for baby? I finally got the glider and dresser ordered for the nursery and they'll be delivered by the end of next week! I'm excited to finally start putting her stuff away and decorating.

What's new with baby? Just a lot of movin' around. SO finds it hilarious that I pee 10000 times a day. And baby likes to do a bladder kick at approximately 4:15AM EVERY morning.

Any new preparations for baby? We found a place to live! Yay! Still have a few small things to work through but if everything goes as planned we will be able to start moving in February 11th, which should (fingers crossed) be just enough time to get things washed and start setting up a room. Ugh this has been a stressful month. Oh and my mom bought and sent us the car seat/stroller set and the crib we picked out which was a big surprise! Put my mind at ease, especially the car seat.

Questions? I don't want to be over expectant for baby shower gifts (baby shower is January 31st) but I also don't want to end up super unprepared. We have not bought anything except for a few outfits. Advice? What should we be getting ourselves? (My breast pump is covered by insurance, and we've gone to look at our options, but I cant get my prescription for it until 36 weeks.)

LOL! I didn't know this was a thing. I don't expect anything. SO is pretty good at just random surprises. He will just grab something if he thinks I'll like it. I haven't worn jewelry since about month 2 (it really bugs the crap out of me for some reason and I was an everyday, earrings (two holes in each ear), nose ring, necklace person before) so that won't be something he would get. I'm not sure. Ill be happy with a healthy baby boy and a mostly moved into apartment to take him home to.

Appointments? Had one last Monday. I did really well with my weight gain the last 4 weeks! Between my previous two appointments I gained 8-9 lbs so Doc told me to start being more aware of it. After exercising and eating better, this time around I only gained 2!
Now I'll have appointments every 2 weeks!
Any new preparations for baby? DD started sleeping in her "big girl bed" this week so we can start moving the crib and changing table in the nursery this weekend! Still hunting for names we like. I decided I didn't like any of the names after narrowing our original list down to 3 boys and 3 girls names! So from scratch we begin again.

What's new with baby? Baby's continuing to grow - not sure on all the details this week
Appointments? Had one on Friday with ultrasound to check growth progress.
Any new preparations for baby? Baby is measuring in the 60th percentile - probably mostly due to the massive head size. The head was measuring in the 36 week range and everything else was measuring around 33 weeks. So now I am a little nervous pushing this LO out...
Had my first shower yesterday and got quite a few of the "must-haves" before LO arrives, which is so nice! I will not be buying the rest until after my work shower in a couple weeks but am so glad to see that our to-buy list is getting smaller
Symptoms/Rants/Raves/Cravings: Baby is making much more drastic movements. We found out baby is head down so that is good, but baby is diagonal across my abdomen: head is in lower left hip area and feet are under the right rib cage. I am not complaining since baby is in the right position, but it would be really nice to not have my whole mid-section affected every move LO makes.
Questions? Anyone have some insight on being positive for group B strep (I think this is what it is called) - so antibiotics were required while in labor?
GTKY: Have you asked for a certain "push present"? Or will you be happy (or surprised!) if you get anything at all? (A Push present is something you may receive from a loved one--could be anything from jewelry to a chocolate bar.) Also feel free to share significant or funny (or infuriating) past push presents. No push present expected & not wanted. I am lucky if DH remembers to get me a card for important holidays and dates let alone a gift.
