Feeling alright. Starting to have a hard time getting comfortable at night which makes me wake a lot and also makes me tired. But at least I have my appetite back.
Doctor appointment news?
Going in on the 2nd and we will find out the sex. I'm going to have to MA call my friend and tell her so she can make a cake. Then we will have DD cut it when we get home that night with just is there.
GTKY- How long have you and DH/SO been together?
Almost six years, married for about 2.5. DD was 13 months old when we got married
Rant or raves about anything? Rave- been feeling the baby thump me occasionally for the last few days. Before I was feeling something like little shivers/flutters, but now it seems to be more of a thump. Rant- My insurance company is giving me the run-around and saying they don't supply or cover any portion of the cost of a breast pump. I'm appealing.
Doctor appointment news? We have our anatomy scan next Wednesday. We are team green, so the sex thing isn't why I'm so excited. I just can't wait to see baby again.
GTKY- How long have you and DH/SO been together? We will have been together for 4 years in April. We got married in March of last year
Rants? Having a bad day. Got a call saying my Maternal Serum screen was positive. I now have to sit and wait for further Ultrasound and genetic counselling til Monday. This sucks.

Rant or raves about anything? Rant: I have been feeling icky the last few days, can't explain exactly what is it but I feel like crap at night. Rave: I have the best friend (who unfortunately lives 400+ miles away now) and best husband ever.... They are the only thing keeping me sane.
Doctor appointment news? My doctor scheduled my AS for Feb 5th and I am not sure I can wait that long. I might be going to an imaging center to find out the sex of the baby!! I am dying to start planning things!

@denny+lee - I'm sorry your insurance company is being an asshat. Hopefully the appeal works.

How many weeks are you? How big is baby? 19 weeks / Box of Thin Mints....found a new website that does baby comparisons that aren't generic.
Rant or raves about anything? Just so happy we got our A/S done today. I was a little peeved that we don't find out if everything is ok until tomorrow though. The tech wouldn't say but hinted that things looked good...plus it only took her 25 minutes start to finish so I would think it would have taken longer if something was off? Also, tech confirmed I have an anterior placenta which would explain the lack of me feeling movement...baby is definitely kicking in there though.
Doctor appointment news? It is a girl for us!!! Just found out today with the A/S with a tech. Next appointment is with my OB for our 20 week check-up.

Rant or raves about anything? I am SO HUNGRY. All. The. Time. I try to bring as many snacks with me to work (yogurt, banana, special K bars) and substantial lunches (salad with grilled chicken and avocado, left over meatloaf and green beans, chicken soup) but I still find my stomach rumbling. I am already longing for dinner... My little fetus is hungry!
Any suggestions on how to keep the hunger pangs away, ladies??

Doctor appointment news? Anatomy scan and midwife check-up on Feb 1! We're team green, so hoping we don't accidentally see an indication of baby's sex.
GTKY- How long have you and DH/SO been together?
Together 11.5 years, married for over 6.
Rants/Raves: Some days I struggle to feel pregnant but its all in my head. I just have to reflect back to the sciatic nerve pain that makes walking hurt, horrible heart burn, incredibly realistic dreams, difficulty sleeping, and sore boobs to know I am pregnant. Still terrified I will go in and something will be wrong with baby but trying to stay as positive as possible. I don't even want to admit to anyone except my husband that I think I've been feeling movement in the past few days to a week.
Doctors appointment news: We go in for the anatomy scan this coming Monday, which is also my birthday. Haven't seen the baby since it measured 5+6 and am so nervous but excited!! I am hoping the rest of this week flies by and this weekend actually races by so I can see baby and once again be reassure that every thing is good for now. Agree with @crdo hoping not to accidentally see baby's gender on screen. I'm also looking forward to what will hopefully be a longish ultrasound session with the baby, since the first one was fairly brief and there wasn't much to look at and every other appointment has just been a quick Doppler.
GTKY how long have you and DH/SO been together: We met through friends November of 2012, and got married a year and a week later (we tried for the one year anniversary but the priest was already booked). So together for 3 married for 2. I knew pretty early on he was the perfect partner for me and I am so happy I met him. Couldn't imagine this journey with any one but him.

Rant or raves about anything? Tired of losing my breath: As a teacher, I talk all day long which means I'm out of breath all the time! BUT the good news is that I've finally passed into the "glow" stage. No more 1st trimester acne, hello men and women staring/smiling at me in grocery stores!
Doctor appointment news? Next appt is Friday and we FIND OUT THE GENDER!! DH will be getting to know first and then I have to wait for our gender reveal party the following day! He was jealous that I knew I was pregnant, and then lied about it so I could tell him in a cute way! So we compromised
