First time older moms?

My friends keep insisting that I'm not that old, but when it come to pregnancy, 37 is up there....especially for a first timer! Any other first time moms on the "older" side out there? Today (6w5d) we had our first US and got to hear the heartbeat. What a rush of emotions! Today it feels much more real, but at the same time its such an odd feeling since there are no outward signs that you're pregnant and most people don't even know! Thoughts?

    I was 38 with my first and am now 41 with my second. :) there are several of us over on the pregnant after 35 board. Some first-timers too. I can't remember if I have seen you over there, but if not, feel free to pop on by!

    Congratulations on hearing the heartbeat! It is a thrill like no other. I am anxiously awaiting my first appt at 8 weeks on 2/1.

    @Sporty1216 Thanks for the tip on the over 35 board! It's encouraging to hear from older moms since I'm hoping this won't be my last :) I hope the days fly by till your appointment!

    I just barely had my first at 34 (my bday is 3 days after his!) and I'm currently 37 but will be 38 when this one is born. I forgot about the Over 35 board, I'll have to go over and intro  :) Thanks @Sporty1216 for the reminder!

    We had our first last July ....I was 36...

    Just turned 37 and #2 is on the way!!!

    Hubs will be 40 in May...so we are a little on the older side.

    But hey...40 is the new 30!!!!
