Diono radian is nice and narrow
These car seats are good for extended rearfacing, which is safest for your child.

We have the Britax Marathon based on recommendations from friends and like it, will probably do the same for this kid.

We have the Diono Rainer. It's a bit bigger than the Radian but we absolutely love it!
