Hi to all

A little background

My wife and I had a miscarriage in 2008 only 6 weeks gone,
We where trying for 8 years to have a baby then in June 2014 it happen we where in shock. 8th December 2014 our little Daisy was born 10 weeks premature thankfully everything was OK.

In the last week we found out again that my wife was pregnant. 6 weeks today. Here's the issue my wife has moderate cramping and bleeding should we be expecting the worse? We have a internal scan tomorrow at 2pm
Wife doesn't know I've sent this not that it matters

Bleeding and cramping can mean a miscarriage but it can also be other things. Cramps are normal in early pregnancy and some spotting / light bleeding is relatively common. Red blood is more worrisome than brown blood.

Try to hold on until the scan tomorrow, You will know more then. Hopefully it is good news.

It kind of depends on how severe it is. Light cramps and spotting is totally normal, severe cramping and bright red bleeding, especially if there are clots, is not such a great sign, but even then there are exceptions. Some women bleed a lot and still have a healthy pregnancy.

Really hoping your scan shows that everything is ok!!

Thanks for the replies

It's not looking good the cramps are 7 or 8 out of 10 red blood and small clots in the toilet, she's also exhausted as well..

The scan tomorrow will tell us everything

Unfortunately it was bad news there was no sack, wife got bloods taken today back on Wednesday for results to make sure it's not a ectopic pregnancy unlikely though
