Narrowed it down - girl name poll!

I think we've narrowed it down to the following names, but can't seem to make a choice. We don't share names with friends and family so looking for some outside opinions. DS is William, but goes by Liam. MN's are family names, but could be switched around with the FN options. Last name is 2 syllables and starts with an M. Let me know your opinions!! Thanks :)

Re: Narrowed it down - girl name poll!

  • I voted Amelia, but also like Isla. Eloise and Stella aren't bad either. I like Amelia Renee a little better than Amelia Marie

  • Love Stella, also like Stella Renee

  • @kh1824 I do like Amelia Renee together! Was a little concerned with using Marie and having too much "m", especially with our last name.

@lizakate1213 I liked that option, but we know a Stella Rae so I didn't want it to come off as too copycat like!

  • Love your sons nn.
  • Amelia and Stella are both on my list for Girl names, so it's a tie for me between those two.
  • Love the name Eloise but like Eloise Marie better than Eloise Helen

  • I like them all but Stella Marie, nothing against either names but it reminds me of Stemla Maris, a common Catholic Church name.

I see why you posted a poll because I couldn't chose!
  • Love Eloise but not so much with Helen. Eloise Marie is nice.
  • The only one I'm not a huge fan of is Isla Renee (and that's just personal preference). I do have a dislike for Marie as a mn. DH has brought it up during multiple pregnancies, but to me it's too much of a filler name like Mae or Grace. If we had a family member to honor as you do, I might consider it. Since Helen is a family name too though, I voted Eloise Helen. I also like the sound of Amelia Helen. :)
    It's a boy! Born 42 weeks, 2 days.

  • I love Amelia but with a different middle name than Marie. Eloise would be my second favorite.
  • @ClaireBear90 I feel the same way about Marie! It was my grandma's name so I would love to honor her, but it still feels like a filler name to me.
  • Another vote for Eloise Marie! Helen just doesn't flow as nicely to me.

You can't go wrong with any of these. Eloise Marie works better than Eloise Helen. Helen Eloise is better.

Helen Marie or Marie Helen is precious btw.. I have a friend named Marie-Hélène (sounds like MAR-ee ell-AIN). I like the English Helen better though!
  • Isla Renee is so cute. My only hesitation about Isla is the pronunciation. I feel people won't know how it should be pronounced.
  • Stella would be my second choice for first name. And to me Eloise is an old lady name. But that's just me. Good luck!
