Spotting can be normal. If you're not cramping and not bleeding heavily it is most likely nothing to worry about. However if it continues, gets heavier or you begin to have pains then I'd call my doctor immediately. Did you possibly strain too much on the toilet? That could cause blood on the toilet paper
Anything that has to do with blood down there you should be calling your doctor immediately. Even though it most likely is nothing if just very little and one time thing. I know my obgyn would have me come in right away to check it out. Especially if your neg blood type its urgent to contact your ob!
Weird question, but do you know exactly what area the blood came from?
TMI here, but I had a freak out a couple weeks ago because there was bright red blood when I wiped, however it was coming from my anus rather than my vagina. That can make a difference. For me I think it was just straining to go poop. But it could have been something more concerning.
As pp said, if it continues, gets worse, or is accompanied by cramping then go to the dr, rather safe than sorry.
I always suggest calling your nurse line or dr when spotting occurs it can be normal but they may put you on pelvic rest or look for other causes always good to let them know what is going on. As they will have a better idea of what steps are best for you take then us
