Nursing Mamas-pajamas

Ladies...my husband bought me these nursing pajamas off Amazon for Christmas. They are amazing-soft, comfortable, loose and appear as though they'll be great for late night nursing! They're totally in my hospital bag too! I am a FTM, so I've been leery about buying too much nursing stuff until I know whether or not the baby will latch, etc, but I am so glad to have these.

I will tell you, he ordered me a medium based on the size chart given. He's correct, normally I do wear a medium in non maternity clothes. They fit, but I knew I would be more comfortable in a large - so glad I exchanged them!

Sorry for the endorsement, just wanted to share this awesome find!

Re: Nursing Mamas-pajamas

  • Can I ask what makes them nursing pajamas? Is there like extra support in the boob area?

  • Sorry, I should've explained that. The ruching across the chest pulls up for easy access to the boobies!

Those do look nice- I think I see some fabric to maybe keep the boobs seperate too!

    Correct.
  • My best friend had this. She let me borrow hers when my daughter was born and I LOVED it! Then when she had her second son I sent it back. It is so comfortable
  • Awesome! I'll check those out. A word of advice though, you may want to not being them to the hospital as you may be bleeding and ruin them. Maybe keep them home if you really like?
  • These do look super comfy! I could never wear pajamas though. I was always overly hot when I was nursing. Of course, I live in Florida so it doesn't get too cold. I just always wore underwear and a nursing sleep bra.

  • Those look great! I wore a lot of nursing tank tops, they made life so much eager!
  • Those look awesome, but I'm not even going to bother wearing clothes for a good week after birth.
  • I can't remember the brand, but this time around, I bought a nursing nightgown (looks like a long t-shirt with a built-in shelf bra and clasps to undo for nursing).

When I had my son via C-section, I wore pants and a tank top with the built-in shelf bra.  I found that I needed the shelf bra to hold the nursing pads so I didn't leak.  Actually, I overproduced at night, so the nursing pads weren't even cutting it.  I folded a receiving blanket into 3rds and shoved that thing in the shelf bra to catch the leakages.

But,  having had a C-section, most pants rubbed up on the scar and were uncomfortable, so that's why I went with the nightgown style this time.

  • My husband bought these for me as a gift, and there are super soft. I'm able to wear them now in 3rd trimester for around the house, but not all day as the band goes directly across the belly and isn't as comfortable as actual maternity pants/leggings.
