**2nd Tri Check-in 1/4**

This is a weekly check-in for those in their 2nd trimester: weeks 14 through the end of week 27.

Congrats to all the strong ladies who have made it this far! It's such a great feeling and we've all accomplished so much! We are now 1 week closer to the end of this especially long journey we call "infertility".

Please post below a little about yourself, how many beans you have growing inside, if you have found out the sex(es) and what your EDD is. Please also let us know how far you've made it on your journey and when your next appt is and what for.

DX: Unexplained Infertility; found a few fibroids this time around during SIS

March 2012: Clomid for 3 cycles  3 BFNs
Sept. 2013: started injectables (Follistim, Ovidrel Trigger) IUI BFN

May 2015: New RE. Going IVF. Tests, Tests, Tests 
July 2015: Microdose Lupron 20u am & pm, Follistim 150iu 75iu am, Menapur 150iu 75iu pm
Triggered 8/4 ER 8/6 ET 8/11 2 beautiful blastocysts; 2WW
8/19 hpt BFP! Beta 8/25: 482
2nd Beta 9/1......3707
U/S 9/21: 1 beautiful little gummy bear

    Congrats @NB817 ! Oh, I totaly hear you! I made the mistake of going on the Carter's website last night...then I got a $10 rebate for signing up, then I figured why not spend it...so my order should get delivered tomorrow ;) DH is begging me to calm down. My answer: 1) I bought so much stuff for so many other people's babies, I'm allowed to spoil myself now 2) we can afford it. End of discussion!

    I had an OB appointment yesterday. They had the rest of the results from the 20 weeks scan, but nothing new or surprising: our little guy seems perfectly normal from head to toe. I also just came back from a prenatal yoga class and that felt great... My hips were feeling tight and I've been getting random cramps in my legs, so that really helps. So now I'm signed up for the next 10 weeks. I also got a video series with workouts for each trimester (including the '4th' one) which has been designed with one of the pelvic physio where I go.     I somehow gained 5 lbs over the holidays (without even eating that bad I thought) and the belly is really popping these days (see pic for top view-left side was end of November or so, right is today).
    Figured some exercise would help me feel better and make sure the weight stays under control (I hadn't gained too much til now though, so I'm still totally fine).

    @NB817 woohoo! That's so exciting. Buy it all!

    I'm 16+5 and my belly exploded. I even got a seat on the subway offered, boo yah! (Of course I was dramatically rubbing my belly trying to get someone to notice...) had an OB appointment yesterday and everything looked great. Little guy was moving a little but very quiet like he usually is. Love seeing him every single time. Hope you ladies have a great week!!

    Good news, Baby B's issue is very small so I might be able to deliver two hours away instead of six.

    There is a possibility B might not need surgery at all for his omphalocele since there is no organ involvement, it could possibly resolve itself over time.

    Or he can have a very small repair surgery when he is a little older and stronger.

    I see the MFM again on January 21 and they will look at things again but as long as the issue stays small or gets smaller it is looking like I can deliver closer to home.

    Also, the fetal echo for each twin went well, no issues were seen with either of their hearts and their kidneys also no longer look dilated.

    They will likely set my C-section date in mid March but think I will deliver before then closer to when my first set of twins arrived at 35 weeks +.

    The MFM is suggesting I drive up and stay near the hospital at 35 weeks until either I deliver or my scheduled C-section, is anyone else being asked to do this?

    I could be there two weeks if I make it to a 37 week C-section date?

    Maybe I can talk them into a 36 week C-section date if I have to be up there waiting, they also said I cannot wait alone so either DH or one of my parents would have to wait with me, it sounds like a lot to ask of anyone.

    Our local hospital is small and does not have a NICU, MFM, or neonatologist on staff.

    That is the latest, I cannot believe I am on the top of the list!

    I forgot to add I passed my glucose screening but failed my iron test badly.  My iron/hemoglobin was only at 8 so I am on iron supplements for that and ordered to eat iron rich foods.  He also put me on Magnesium to counter the effects of the iron pills.

    Not much going on here. Saw the OB on Monday. Gained more weight over the holiday than the whole pregnancy. (Not a lot. Figured I was making up for my first trimester) Too many Christmas cookies. Orders in for the glucose testing. I will go next week for that. Otherwise all good here. Happy New Year!!

    @efhoping2010 So glad "B"'s prognosis is better! Amen to that!

    ME: Submucosal Fibroid Surgery Date APRIL 14th 2015 -Left Tube is blocked by Fibroid~Surgeon removed 26 Fibroids from my Ute and Unblocked my Tube

    DH:Azoospermia...Thank God we have 12 vials of frozen swimmers

    July 15-Check to see if Ute is all healed

    IUI #1 8/3/15...BFN

    IUI #2 9/5/15...BFP on 9/17/15
