Registry with perks in Canada?

I seem to be seeing all kinds of registry perks for different places in the states (completion rebates, points, sign up goodies, etc). However, I live in Canada and can't seem to have seen anything like it (even from places like Toys R Us which have perks in the States). Is it just me that's not seeing it? Or do you know of any Canadian retailer that has similar perks?

    Would love to know this also but haven't found any. I'm registering with babies r us and snugglebugz...don't know if that's Canada wide... I think it's safe to assume we get no perks :(

    I have the same problem in NZ, few registries and none that offer rewards/discounts.  I know Amazon offers some great perks though if you are interested in an online registry. I almost went with Amazon but shipping costs about the same (and sometimes more than) the cost of the product to ship to NZ. Shouldn't have that issue though living in Canada.

    Yeah, as far as I've seen, both don't have any perks. I wish snugglebugz had some sort of something...we've already bought the furniture and an Uppababy Vista there...I want to get a few more things from there too, but none of the nice things ever go on sale...

    @Kurrant : did you register with Amazon.com? We have .ca here, and it rarely turns out to be advantageous to buy through .com, especially with the exchange rate being what it is (but also because for pricey items, you get charged duty and you won't get free delivery, which we can offer get through .ca. I'll double check the .ca registry though just to be sure

    No kidding...I can't imagine how expensive shipping must get. I guess there are downsides to living in a beautiful place?

    Snugglebugz does have a completion program. 10% off anything left on your registry...you have to register for at least 50 items. Also when you close out your registry they add up everything that people have spent, including anything you bought yourself and then you get a gift voucher. Most you can get is $100 for $2500 worth of goods bought. If you've already bought your vista and furniture you're likely already there. I got my vista today and they said it all goes towards that $2500! Also I bought a diaper bag today and she it automatically gets added to it too.

    @KidShrink that's what I was thinking too. Mind you I didn't find that out until my second trip there either. And I've had the online registry running for a while. I wish they would just put that info on the website!!
