I haven't read any. My doctor wrote a book about PCOS that I've skimmed through, but Dr. Google seems to be my book (which probably isn't good a lot of the time).

I've read quite a few. Funny and helpful. I liked "IVF a patient's guide" which really goes into detail about the process and is a quick read, good even if you've already done a cycle.
"Breeding in captivity" and "laughing is conceivable" were good. The laughing one I really enjoyed.
I read In Vitro Fertilization: The ART of Making Babies. It takes a scientific approach. The only negative (and this is just because it scared me and made me question whether IVF would just be a waste of money for me) is the author's focus on immunological factors that may affect implantation. As someone with hypothyroidism and unexplained IF, it really scared me since apparently not many places in the US test and treat for immunological factors and being OOP I knew it would make IVF unaffordable if needed. After the initial shock, I did more research and read that the immunological issue and treatment is controversial re: whether it actually affects implantation and sustaining a pregnancy and whether the treatment can have negative effects on you and the baby (still a relatively recent thing so long term effects are unknown).
Besides that aspect of the book, I do recommend it. The author does sound a little self-applauding, but it really is an interesting read. Overall, I'm glad I read it.
