3rd Trimester

I think my husband is pregnant too

Im 39 weeks pregnant and my husband seems more pregnant then I do. He already started nesting and he gets more tired then I do. Personally I find it hilarious but then I think to myself why havent I had that nesting stage yet and all the "symptoms" hes been having

  • Google couvade syndrome.
  • My husband thinks he's pregnant as well. We're both in bed by 8:30 everyday (although he does get up early), he's gaining a sympathy belly and has definitely started nesting. Haha I think it's cute.
  • Mine is all appetite and hormones.
  • My hubby has more cravings than me! He's always craving this or that. He's also been sleeping more.
  • I'm always poking fun at my partner for being pregnant too! We're both tired and moody and in bed early. To be fair, I jabe chronic joint issues so adding the baby weight means he's doing everything for me and dealing with stress trying to save money, so it's pretty fair he feels some of the same symptoms as me. And watching me eat all day? Of course he'll put on a couple pounds
  • Aww. That's sweet. Lol. During my first trimester my hubby felt sick when I did too. He joked around and said he didn't even wanna sleep next to me because he didn't want to feel bad in the mornings or anytime I felt sick. Lol. I felt bad for him in a way. Honestly I don't think I've been that moody but he sure has. Lol. He's had some other symptoms I've had as well. I think it's sweet that men have sympathy symptoms. (:
  • sounds cute! none of that here. I'd gladly give him some of my nausea, tiredness, gas, anxiety etc any day! :)
  • Haha I thought it was just my partner who was like this.
Wheh I have a bad back he sits at the end of the sofa sighing about his bad back and asking ME to rub it for him. As for cravings he has been fancying lots of chocolate although I've said it's an excuse he's determined it's a craving.

As for the nesting and cleaning up? Nah my partner does none of that. Wierd isn't it how he's got all the symptoms which involve resting and eating? And the ones that mean him actually doing something Ave completely avoided him ;) I can't complain though: he does work hard

    Men!!!!
  • Mine has been eating everything in sight and is taking naps all the time. He did the same thing with my first pregnancy. Of course, afterward he magically lost all the weight immediately... so jealous! This time, every time I complain about a new symptom he suddenly gets a new injury. I've had Braxton Hicks a lot this week, and suddenly his knee is killing him. The limp seems to come and go (interesting). He's a fantastic guy and a wonderful dad and husband, but it's getting a little annoying. I'm just biting my tongue.

  • Ugh, I wish my husband had nesting skills!! It's like the opposite, he's training me early for taking care of a baby! If I don't feed him, he doesn't eat, I have to remind him to pick up his clothes, I have to pick up his dirty dishes, etc. But he is getting a bigger baby bump then I am! It's pretty cute.
