Rant/Rave/Symptoms? I'm feeling baby girl move pretty frequently now, which I love. Feels like she's doing little flips in there!
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Just enjoying the knowledge that we already have pretty much everything we need from our first DD! And enjoying our life as a family of 3 until everything changes with the new arrival.
Questions? At my anatomy scan a few days ago, the sonographer said the baby is breech. I'll ask my doctor at my next appointment, but that's nothing to be concerned about this early on, right? Plenty of time to flip, it seems like...right?

I loved Gummi Bears. Loved the unbearably catchy theme song: Gummi Bears! Bouncing here and there and everywhere! High adventure that's beyond compare! They are the Gummies Bears!! Also, Duck Tales. And Chipmunks. I could go on for hours. Unfortunately, I now suck at giffing.
Rant/Rave/Symptoms? Feeling less and less nauseous! Waking up everyday feeling like I got hit by a truck and with super sore boobs. RLP is making me crazy but the little flutters totally make up for it.

Rant/Rave/Symptoms? Rant: the scale said I've gained a couple pounds. I know it's coming, but part of me really hopes is just this bloat. Blah. Rave: DH's best friend from HS texted last night that he and his wife are expecting! Our kids a month apart, so that's pretty cool.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Talked about names again last night. It irritates me that DH wants to hear my suggestions, but has none of his own whatsoever.

Rant/Rave/Symptoms? Like PP, feeling her move what seems like all the time now. It. Is. Magical.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Finally started on the registry!
Questions? Just theoretical, unanswerable ones.... wondering what does it feel like for her when I laugh, cough, sneeze etc.

I feel good! Could nausea finally be going away? I woke up with aches at either side of my pubic area (RLP? I don't know- they were very low but so is baby).
Rave: hubs and my daughter are at her toddler sports class and I took some time to put all my pre-pregnancy-don't-fit-now pants and skirts in a bag at the back of my closet. Now I can just choose from things that embrace the bump (and butt).

Funny how this dates us (I'm def too old to have been into Barney)- I've never been that into cartoons. I always liked stuff like Fraggle Rock and (Canadian) Friendly Giant better. I remember Care Bears and Smurfs fondly though- just cause they were a big deal at the time.

Rant: Had a massage yesterday & the lady went way too hard, even though I asked a bunch of times for her to go lighter. Now my back & neck are extremely sore...my neck is super sensitive to the touch. Ouch. I get that she was working out kinks (& said I had a ton of them), but I've never felt this beat up after a massage before.
Rave: Went to BRU yesterday for the BabyFest sale & bought the breast pump I was wanting. I can't believe how expensive they are...but, it will be worth it in the long run! And I *think* I felt my first flutters this week, but as a FTM I'm a bit unsure. It felt like bubbles...kind of like gas, but different.
What are you doing to prepare for baby?
Nothing specific today. I had hoped to start painting the nursery but my mom has offered to do it for us next weekend (she loves being the painter in the family).

It's not really a cartoon, but I loved Under the Umbrella Tree...also a Canadian show. And I loved the Care Bears.

Rant/Rave/Symptoms? Rave-the dog slept until 9 this morning so I got to sleep until 9 which was amazing. Rant-we went back upstairs after he did his business and ate breakfast. He jumped in the bed and promptly puked right in the middle because he ate too fast. So much for relaxing in bed for a little...symptoms-no nausea this morning so that's a win. Trying to eat normal person amounts of food for once instead of the child sized portions I've been managing so far.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Car seat testing this weekend to find ones that fit in our cars.

Rants/Raves/Symptoms: I had some insane RLP this morning when I sneezed. Ouch. DH has a cold and he is being such a baby about it. I know he's sick, but I really can't feel bad for him considering I spent a good chunk of the last few months barfing after breakfast and heading off to work/school.
Other than that, I'm just glad it's the weekend.
What are you doing to prepare for baby? Just anxiously awaiting my appointment on Monday.

Rant/Rave/Symptoms? Dizziness/head congestion that was cray yesterday finally subsided today. Phew. Bonus? When we woke up and we're still all snuggly under the covers, DH says "Hey, I got something for you."....He played a recording of me snoring embarrassingly like a drunken lumberjack.

So, I'm getting a humidifier today. Also a snoogle.

Rave: I'm feeling the baby move all the time now! It feels like little buzzes and flutters. LO was going crazy the other night when I was trying to fall asleep so I told DH to see if he could feel the movement and he could! It was such a special moment since this is our first
Symptoms: Ugh, having RLP and some vaginal pain. And stilll fighting this sinus infection for a month now. Doc gave me permission to use some sudafed which had finally given me relief but it scares me to take it.
What are you doing to prepare for baby?
Working on the nursery. Built the crib last weekend and got the dresser in place. I need to move the rest of my stuff out of the room (it used to be my office) which might happen this weekend. We also started our registry online (myregistry, amazon, BBB)

Rant/Rave/Symptoms? No rants today but she's starting to move more and even let Daddy feel her kick the other day. It's so exciting!
What are you doing to prepare for baby? We had her anatomy scan yesterday, so we got confirmation that she's a girl. We've bought another piece of artwork for her room and we're looking for a nice chandelier to put in there but DH doesn't want to paint until Spring break (March 19-26) because that's closer to the baby shower and he's thinking the grandparents won't buy her furniture until then. I'm not stressing the procrastination though because she doesn't have actual stuff yet aside from some 20 onesies. Also, I'm having the weirdest conversations with people about pumping, feedings, labor...pregnancy is such a unique time!
Questions? I feel like I need a cheat sheet for some acronyms. I can mostly get the gist of stuff but some are beyond me lol

Thanks for your help! Just to clarify, on mobile/app, I clicked on the image button and pasted the image URL. The app auto filled the img src parts. Should I not use the image button when on mobile?
