I've been a lerker on here.
My little boy is 6 weeks. What do you do with baby when they are awake to keep them occupied. We do stretches and talking. I haven't been doing great with tummy time because he screams the whole time. But we are working on it.
How are you playing with your babies?
Re: Baby playing
Read - I read both baby books and a book that I'm reading out loud to her.
Music - play music on our phones/radio. Or sing to her. I sing baby songs, music I like, and made up songs.
Activity gym - she loves this thing! It's the turtle one that converts to a ball pit when she's older.
Walk around - and point out everything I see. In general I just talk to her and tell her what I'm doing all the time.
Funny faces - she loves making them back at me. Also I found that if I eat loudly/say things like "um num num " while I'm eating she laughs at me and I actually get to eat!! It's horrible manners-wise but She thinks it's a game.
However, he loves playing with my husband and I. He loves silly faces, nose boops, toe tickles. He is also a huge fan of getting to stand up on your lap. He likes when you make him dance or make him fly around (properly supported of course). Basically anything we do with him makes him happy. But dare to try getting him playing with any of the fancy baby things he has and the neighbors will probably think I'm trying to murder him.
