Presnisone and sperm count (loss mentioned)

We have been TTC for a year. We had a miscarriage in June, and started trying again as soon as I had my 2nd cycle. My husband had a bad case of broncitis this week and the dr just put him on presnisone. He will be on it until next Thursday because his lungs were inflamed from all the coughing. I will be ovulating Thursday-Friday of next week so we will start BD around Tuesday. I read that presnisone can cause a low sperm count. Does anyone know if that's true from just one 7 day cycle or does it only effect sperm count when there is prolonged use of a steroid?

    I would suspect it would affect the count over a longer period than 7 days, but that's just a guess.  Also, what sperm are there shouldn't be affected by a dose he has just started.
