Hey ladies!
This is my first pregnancy and I felt incredibly nauseous from weeks 6-10. I just wanted to share what I found worked just in case others are still struggling!
The whole small meals every 1.5-2 hours is KEY, BUT what people didn't tell me was to make sure that those small meals contained protein! Even if you don't want it, you've got to find a way to get it down. Smoothies with protein didn't work for me, too much heavy liquid in my belly caused nausea. The other thing that has helped is making sure I'm taking my prenatal (on a full stomach). It's difficult to get the nutrients your body needs when you're constantly in a state of "I think I'm going to puke", but getting these nutrients completely settled my system down.
Also, make sure you're having regular bowel movements! You've got to find a way to keep things moving. Whether you drink apple juice, prune juice or take collace (with your OB's approval) - keep things moving! Being all backed up will certainly amplify your nausea.
Lastly, exercise! Strangely enough, walking on a treadmill and doing some light lifting helped the nausea to pass. All of these tricks have lead to a settled tummy and more energy! Hope this helps

Great tips! I agree that adding protein to your small meals is key! Today I had a bowl of honey nut cheerios for breakfast...make that 2 bowls
Not even 30 minutes later I was starving so I had a pickle. Today I am seriously feeling the hunger unlike other days. Nothing was satisfying my hunger I was actually craving some meat!! This was new for me because I would be ok with some crackers or fruit snacks in between. I noticed as long as I don't let hunger set in nausea usually stays clear from me.
I also wanted to share something I have noticed with me. Brushing my teeth seemed like such a chore because I knew I would throw up immediately as the tooth brush hit my mouth. I am happy to say and I am knocking on wood that ever since I started using a sonic care toothbrush its been so much easier and rinsing my mouth with Listerine before hand instead of after. I have noticed less spit and poking around...which means less gagging for this momma to be! Not sure if anyone else has experienced that but thankfully it is working for me...for now that is lol
