DS is 4 and uses a Britax Frontier- he is very tall (45 inches already). DD is almost two and then this baby is joining us. I have a minivan so car seats are a non issue there but we are hiring a nanny and we need to make sure she can fit three car seats in HER car. We used to live in Chicago where the nanny walked or used our double stroller on the CTA so this was never a question before.
I've read a lot about the Radian car seats being able to fit three across in almost any car, and I hate to limit our nanny pool by only seeing applicants with minivans and SUVs that accommodate any configuration of three car seats. Does anyone know if two radians and a Britax frontier (that one was expensive so I do not want to replace it unless I absolutely have to) can fit three across?

Re: Moms expecting #3- car seat help
I drive a 2004 Chevy Silverado (4 door, extended cab) that has 3 seats across the back. SO drives a 2011 Chevy Impala. The car seats are primarily in my truck as I'm the one home with the kids.
We have a Graco Contender 65 (rear facing) for my one year old son and a Graco Click Connect Snug Ride for baby girl. SO also has an 8 year old who is with us often, but is out of her booster.
Our problem is that the Contender cannot go behind the driver's seat. I'm thinking the infant seat will be behind the driver... but how in the world is poor SD going to fit in between?! I'd prefer to have DS behind the driver, but with his seat rear-facing, I'd be driving with my knees up my nose. A new vehicle is completely out of the question as we are planning to buy a house in the spring...
