October 2015 Moms

Great Job Mamas!!

Just wanted to take a second to encourage all you moms! From breastfeeding to bottle feeding, working away from home to staying at home, co-sleeping or sleeping separate it is not easy but it is so rewarding ... Just wanted to tell all you ladies to never feel discouraged because you were specifically chosen to be your LO's mom! Making every decision you make that you feel is best for your child --- that in and of itself makes you the best mom you could possibly be ❤️ :)

Re: Great Job Mamas!!

  • This is so thoughtful and sweet of you! Parenting is very stressful and there are so many decisions, but every mom has a gut instinct and knows deep down exactly what is best for her baby. It is the best and most rewarding job there is. Never knew my heart could hold so much love or that I could love someone so much it would actually hurt. Best. Feeling. Ever.

@jadi1215 I completely agree .. there's nothing like it !! Being a mom is the best thing in the world :)
  • I feel like all moms need to hear things like this! So many women are bringing each other down and criticizing each other because of the way they parent. Its so sad to me. We should all be helping uplift and encourage each other! I have two little ones...my 4 year old guy and 10 week old baby girl. My rule has always been and always will be "if you and baby are happy and healthy and it works for the both of you...you're doing it right!" <3

@sarapagan yes ! That's right ! I find myself sometimes comparing what I do with my baby (how I feed her, how she naps, how much play time) and I was getting so discouraged that what I was doing wasn't right even though it works for us and she is so happy. That's mainly why I posted this lol for everyone else and for myself :)
  • @danniellemichellexox it is so easy to get caught up in what others are doing and the comparison to what you are doing. It is mainly about what is best for you and your baby. I am constantly wondering and worrying. Should baby be pushing up when on his tummy? Does he eat enough? Am I pumping enough while at work? Do I bathe him often enough? Too much? Should I stop swaddling? It NEVER ENDS. Lately I've been reminding myself to stop caring so much what other moms and other babies are doing and just enjoy my LO! He is happy and healthy. Nothing else matters.
  • @jadi1215 that's so good and so true ! :)
