Training myself to sleep on my side has been very difficult; normally I am a back or stomach sleeper. I have also been told by my doctor (previously) that my left side is the best for baby. Unfortunately I've had several problems with my left shoulder and it tends to pain me greatly to sleep on it. Recently, in all my attempts to train myself I have had multiple stiff backs and sore shoulder/necks. I'm pretty good at toughing though the pain but getting to sleep can be difficult sometimes and was wondering if there was something I could take very occasionally to help alleviate the problem. Ib I know is no good for baby and I have negative reactions to Aceto. Is there any other acceptable pain reliever out there? (Still 2 weeks until Dr. apt and I am overly curious)
Re: Pain relief
And though I'm aware it doesn't matter now I'm training myself for when it does. (Something I read that says it helps)

And like PP have said, Tylenol is really the only safe option I've heard of as well.
Good luck mama!
