leg cramps with contractions?

So iv been getting Braxton hicks for weeks now. A few days ago they turned painful but (go figure) they go away when I lay down. But now when they do come, I also get mild leg cramps like right in my upper thighs. Has this been happening to everyone else? It's not a big deal just curious?

    Like inner thighs? That's where I get weird cramps. They sort of take my breath away and I feel like my legs might collapse.

    Ya, I started getting them after my first vaginal exam yesterday. They are so weird!

    I've had them off and on. I get them worst after cervical checks. They were part of PMS symptoms for me prior to pregnancy so I'm not sure if they are related.

    I've been having contractions that started yesterday working the way from my back to my lower abdomen and balling up top of my uterus. After about 6 hours my right upper thigh more at the top/outside was just plain old sore. This morning it's the same almost deep in my thigh bone. I have regular weekly check this afternoon. Glad to read others have thigh pain...

    Yes, I get it too. When I was in labor with DS1, my contractions radiated pain down my thighs. I think it's pretty common. I've had it a few times this pregnancy with the more recent stronger BH.
    BFP #1 - EDD 4/18/13 | DS born 5/1/13. 9 lbs. 14 oz., 22 inches long.

    I've totally been having this too. 39 +1 and been having so many symptoms & everything but baby seems to be staying put for now. The pains in my leg were so bad the other night I wanted to cry, but they eased off as did my contractions.

    No BH, but cramps at night and when I walk around for more than like a few minutes. Having the worst leg cramps today. At my sister's, and just have them wrapped in a heated blanket for the past 2 hours

    Yeah for some people they do labor in their legs too. Pregnancy is so glamorous!

    Yep, totally having cramps in what I call my "hernia" area (I don't have a hernia, but that thigh-hip connecting area)
    About me: Daughter turns 4 in Feb 2016... second baby due in mid-Jan 2016!
