Do brand names matter when using follicle stimulating hormones?

I recently returned from a two month break of TTC and this month we are trying our first round of IUI combined with Femara and Follistim injects. I've previously used Bravelle and Gonal-f but Follistim was substituted this cycle because I was able to get a 50% off voucher from Design RX. I just returned from my follow up ultrasound to check my follies and I only have one growing, currently 14mm. When I was on the other types of hormone injects I was able to produce more than one healthy follicle, so I'm wondering why this cycle I'm not, and I can only think it's the brand of hormone, the follistim? I am doing another shot of it tonight and plan to go back on Friday, but my RE says it's too late for any others to grow bigger since there was only one. Has anyone else had similar results from using a different brand of hormone?

TI for 4 cycles: 1 round of femara; 2 rounds femara/ injectables: all ended in BFN.
3 IUI Cycles: letrozole/Follistim with HCG Trigger,all resulted in BFN.
FET #1: Baseline appt 4/28/16, Gonal-F/Menopur stims, Centrotide 5/4/16, ER 5/11/16; 6/8/16 ET, BFN
FET #2: Baseline appt 6/22/16, Estrace/PIO shots: 7/12/16 ET, 1st beta 7/21/16: 83 BFP, 2nd beta 7/23/16: 315. 1st U/S: 8/4/16 empty sac. 2nd U/S: 8/10/16 yolk sac appeared, everything stopped growing. Office D&C: 8/11/16, MC.
FET #3: Baseline appt 12/28/16, Estrace/PIO shots: 1/17/17 ET, 1st beta 1/27/17: 146 BFP, 2nd beta 1/29/17: 336, 1st U/S: 2/16/17, 2 healthy twin babies measuring 7w0d. EDD: 10/5/17

TTC since 2/11 - Unexplained IF B/W revealed high prolactin levels. Taking bromocriptine for prolactin.
IUI #1-3 = BFN
IVF #1 = Cancelled (undermedicated = small follicles)
IVF #2 = ER 12/6 - 6R/4M/Only 1F
Transfered our one and only blast (3AA) on 12/11 = BFP!
Trying for Baby #2
IVF#3 - 13 eggs retrieved, 7 fertilized. All 7 got a fungus and arrested.
IVF#4 - February 2016 - 13 eggs retrieved. All arrested.
IVF#5 - June 2016 - 12 eggs retrieved. All arrested. Told I need a donor egg.
Changed REs.
IVF #6 - September 2016 - T-priming, HGH, Lupon flare. 31 eggs retrieved!!! 12 made it to blast! Transferred 2 blasts (5AA, 4AA).
I've only used Follistim (Puregon in Canada), no injectibles. However, on the cycle where I got my BFP, I was on the same combo as you (5mg Letrozole from day 3-7, 75IU of Follistim starting day 6). I had more follies on the previous cycles where I was only on Letrozole, but the one with Follistim where I ended up with only one mature follie was the one (although I also had a hysteroscopy and laparoscopy the month before). My RE's reasoning was that the injects helped with egg quality, however I'm not sure whether that'd be different from one inject to another. So I'm probably not really answering your question, but hopefully I offer you some hope! Good luck!
