Car Seat canopy

So I got the free car seat canopy from one of those insert offers where you just pay shipping, and I feel like it's not big enough- has anyone else had this issue?? I have a britax bsafe car seat and the sides aren't really long enough and sometimes the top drips down on LO. Not sure if I should find a different cover or if they all kinda lack full coverage. I really like having a cover when I'm out or walking around my neighborhood. Any feedback??

    I got a car seat canopy too and it seems small. The top collapses in on LO sometimes and it seems more of a pain than helpful. I bought a thick warm one at babies r us to help shield out the cold, they had several more practical ones to choose from!

    I recommend a cozy cover. It goes around the seat like a shower cap so it's safe and it keeps baby warm

    My car seat canopy is a pain in the butt. It always falls in or it blows off. I'm either going to alter it in some way that will hold it in place better or I'm going to take the tabs off and let lo use it for a blanket.

    I made my own it was so easy literally just cutting and sewing a rectangle and adding two straps :) there's a really simple pin on Pinterest on how to do it ... Probably took me all of an hour cost me about $12 :)

    DD1 had a Britax BSafe and the car seat canopy fit perfectly. This LO has a Graco and a car seat canopy with a different design and it doesn't fit the car seat well. More annoying than helpful.

    My jj cole cover is amazing and simple to use. I got a pink one off of amazon. Great for cold weather.

    I used one for about a week and hated it. It blew all over the place and it didn't fit good. It had open spots, we have a graco carseat. I ended up getting a cozy cover and love it. Since the temps are now in the teens I have a one piece fleece bear suit (It fits perfect under her seat straps, it's not puffy and allows her straps to be in the correct safe position.) she wears and I close the cozy cover around her when she's not in the car. The canopy and honestly all the other "free" products they advertise are jokes.
