if your nipples are leaking a clear, sorta sticky liquid, then yes it's colostrum. i started leaking around 15-16 weeks, i think. i cant remember 100%.
Yup, especially if you're a STM. I started at around 15-16w. My midwives were happy and said it boded well for milk supply (although I've read mixed things about this).
First time I started around 25 weeks but this time I believe it started around 18 based on DS1 self weaning. Either way, now you'll know your newborn is getting exactly what he or she needs if you plan to nurse!

This! I leaked colostrum around 11 weeks. I haven't seen anything since but I know for sure what it was since I have previously breastfed.
I was going to post something similar, I'm not quite 16 weeks and have been leaking the past few days. I knew the doctor said it would happen before the baby was born but to be leaking for over half of my pregnancy? Was not expecting that.
Mine seems to happen randomly. I had some early on around 16wks and starting to see some recently (almost 25wks) and not much in between. I have seen a drop or two from my right breast but not really from my left. I get a weird sensation when they are about to leak too. I am sure I leak in between but just not very noticeable other than what looks to be dried up colostrum.
