5 weeks pregnant & no symptoms!! This worries me

Is anyone else not experiencing any symptoms (aside from
Lower back pain/cramps)!!?? With my other two kids my boobs were very sore, I keep poking them hoping they'll hurt, but they don't. Is it too early maybe? I had a miscarriage in August so I am very worried that something will go wrong! Please let me know if you too are not experiencing any symptoms.

  • Not experiencing any symptoms is common. You don't need to have sore boobs, nausea, etc. to have a healthy viable pregnancy. I don't have personal experience but if you're looking for stories, I suggest using the search function. It's a commonly discussed topic.

  • I'm with you there.  I'm 5weeks as well and I don't have nausea and my boobs don't hurt.  I'm big chested so I can't really tell if they've grown.  I only have headaches and constipation. We transferred 2 embryos @5day on 12/17.  My first Beta was 12/29 and it was 354. Second Beta was 12/31 and it was 694 and the third Beta is 1/7 which is 3 days away (but it seems forever).  This will be my first baby so I have nothing to compare it to and I wish there was another way to know for sure that I'm still pregnant.  I'm just a little nervous.
TTC for Baby #1 for 3 years. After 2 failed IUI's & IVFs, God blessed us with our miracle :).  FET 12/17/15 (transferred 2 embryos at 5days). First Beta 12/29/15 = 354. Second Beta 12/31/15 = 694. Third Beta 1/7/16 = 6,695.  Finally heard his heartbeat (126)  on 1/14/16 @ our 1st US.  2nd US on 1/21/16, HR was 159.  The most beautiful sound ever :)
  • It's normal to not have symptoms. I had none and I'm almost 30 weeks.

  • I just found out I'm pregnant with my fourth and all my symptoms have started around week six in the past.

  • My 1st pregnancy, I was ecstatic that I didn't have any symptoms. Then week 6 hit, and I felt like death until almost 18 weeks.

This one, I was happy that I didn't have any symptoms, and then at 5w6d.....BAM! Full force.

Meanwhile, my friend went in for hear yearly pap, and she not only found out that she was pregnant, but she was 13 weeks pregnant. No symptoms that whole time.

    Everyone is different!

  • My symptoms didn't start until 6 weeks and now at 14 weeks all I want is to hold food down again. Every person and every pregnancy is different just remember having or not having symptoms is not a good indicator of if your pregnancy is healthy or not.
  • This question is posed about twice per day. Have a browse of the forum and you'll find a lot of reassuringly similar threads.  I had mild tenderness in my breasts from about week 5 but little else. I'm now 37 weeks with pretty much no other symptoms except a giant belly.
  • You're not having a period. That's the biggest symptom of all.
  • You're completely normal.  I didn't even know I was pregnant until around 6 weeks.  My periods were all over the place, so I didn't really think about it until I looked at my calendar and thought, huh, maybe I should take a pregnancy test.  I'm 9 weeks now and the symptoms are here! Enjoy feeling like normal, and I hope that it continues to stay that way for you!
  • Symptoms, or lack thereof, are not indicative of the health of your pregnancy.

  • I was exactly the same until I hit 6 weeks..... how I wish I never wanted symptoms so bad!

I feel nauseous 24 hour a day - I cannot eat - Everybody smells like dog and onions!

    Enjoy it while it lasts!
