We finally did maternity pictures. My mom really wanted to take them but we found out in October that she had breast cancer. After a double mastectomy, she is totally recovered and CANCER FREE! So I caved and let her take my pictures. 37 weeks, preeclamptic, swollen as all get out. But they mean more to me than just maternity pictures. They're evidence that my mom is okay and can still do what she loves.

Congrats on your mom making it cancer free! How scary that must have been. I lost my mom to breast cancer a few years ago, what a scary thought to have during your pregnancy. Glad all is well

Thank you! It was horrifying. She found it early, thank God. I know it's weird but we wouldn't have known had the dogs not started acting weird and continually tried to sniff a very specific spot on her breast. She went to get a mammo and then 3 weeks later they knocked it out. We are blessed it wasn't worse.

39+4. Scheduled to be induced on Sunday! Holy crap, last HDBD pic! I totally wasn't nervous about this until now... now I'm torn between jumping up and down, or crying! Maybe both... at the same time. Yikes!
