20 Weeks

Yesterday's appointment went ok. I now know the sex of my baby and I was so excited. All of her parts have grown and she's very active at 20 weeks. The ultrasound technician gave us lots of pics. After all of the excitement I later found out that my cervix has opened and now surgery is a must have. I'm keeping the faith because God got this.

    Sorry to hear you need that! My best friend had that procedure, and everything went fine...she went full term!

    Just wanted to say, "First of all...congratulations! Glad to hear baby is doing well." Sorry to hear about your cervix, but glad they discovered it while there is still time to do something. I have had preventative cerclages (at 13 weeks before any cervical shortening took place) with my last two pregnancies because of cervical issues I had with my first pregnancy. Hang in there...I know it can be scary.
