Me!!! I've been fighting a cold with awful congestion. I got some breathe right strips and i can breath through my nose again! Which resulted in some sleep. And i can taste again! That spinach and feta omelette was divine!!
Me and DH! Today I feel so good physically and considering I have felt like complete crap between a cold/contractions/and pregnancy related aches and pains; this is quite a feat!!! Also, I posted about DH traveling to an appointment 4 hours away from home; he made the right decision yesterday and told his company he just couldn't go and wouldn't go that far from here until the baby is born...very thankful about that.
I'm 39 weeks and 2 days today, with no end in sight, what so ever. Yesterday I had a small amount of stringy mucus stuff when I wiped. It might be so small, but it's progress. Right?! Id say that was a bit of a win. Definitely encouraging a bit.
After 3 days and nights of cramps I finally had a bloody show this morning! Only a little one but definite pink with a teeny blood clot. Never been happier to see red! Still pregnant and no sign of labour yet apart from the strong BH and back pain... 39+4 today. Good luck everyone!
My mother, surprisingly! She has finally come to the full realization of how much she has coddled my younger sister, and is starting to do something about it. We're planning my sister's wedding shower and mom is siding with me (no way!) and it's making the planning process SO much less stressful! I never imagined that accepting the role of MOH would mean that I would be butting heads with bridezilla AND momzilla and I'm just so glad that mom has turned the corner and sided with me. (Super selfish, I know, not my wedding, but when you're 22 and broke AF I'm sorry your wedding shower is not going to take place 600 miles away in Nashville just because you like to think you're "country". You're just not. It's just not happening.)
I ordered a double stroller from babies r us on sale for $140 on saturday and they lowered the price to $120 on monday and they're giving me the difference back cuz it counts as a price match:)
Also im on day 6 postpartum and im happy to say I've been blessed with an oversupply again double win!!!
Today is just a winning day! I had a US at my 36 week checkup today (I'm 36+4) and everything was great. My flip flop baby is head down, good birth position and showing hair! Her estimated weight is 6lbs 10oz and her heartbeat was awesome. No dilation but 50% effaced. Ds was so happy to see the sonogram again and kept saying "baby, baby". DH is off of work until tomorrow night and MIL treated us all to lunch, and I had a Kahlua cream pie. Mmmmmmmmmm. Now if only my laundry would rotate itself!
My growth check ultrasound to make sure baby is gaining weight (they are concerned because I haven't) went great! He's weighing in at 7lbs 4oz at 36+6. He has the cutest chubby cheeks... And is head down ready for show time! Now hoping to go a tad early so my first birth isn't 9+lbs!
My boss. I'm due in a little over a week and I'm still working and have been trying to not be a whiney baby about it. Well I called this morning and said I felt like death was running me over with a truck and he was so sweet about everything and told me to stay home and rest and let him know if I need to be done with work. He's such a hard ass sometimes that when he's sweet like this you have to take it all in.
Today has been a winning day! Section is tomorrow morning. Little girls are having a sleepover at my mom's house, my house is clean, fridge is stocked, all laundry is done, and carpool is set for the next two weeks for my big kids. Now we are off to watch daddy play basketball and pick up something delicious for my last meal. 14 more hours!!!
Had enough energy today to get some basic cleaning done. Nothing crazy but at least the house is picked up. DH washed the car and I took a nap while the toddler napped! I went for a walk after dinner, which I intend to do every day and rarely actually do. Overall a winning day!
now my back pain is starting and I'm going to bounce on the ball for an hour in hopes to encourage things to move along.
My mom went in for a biopsy result and it turns out it's just fluid in her breast from when she had her cancer removed a few years ago! That was stressing me out so much I was an emotional wreck. Knowing that my mom is healthy is the best way to start the year, and a baby of course!
