I got a bfn this morning at 9dpiui. I'm thinking this month is a wash already.

@Drove2u , Don't give up hope! My RE says a hpt can show negative until 14dpiui, it may just be taking a little bit for the positive to show up :)

It's been 5dpiui and this morning I started having stomach cramps. Anyone else have cramps around that time and is that a sign?
  • Options
And Happy new Years to everyone!!! :D
  • Options
@Jlowen2 I think cramps are such a vague sign....my 1st IUI I had cramps through out my 2ww....I'm currently 6dpiui from 2nd IUI and sometimes still having cramps...I have read where ladies had cramps and got BFP but then I had read other stories with no cramps and still bfp.....I try not to read into cramps too much...

@LMart85 Yeah, it's so hard not to go on Google and look up everything! I'll definitely try not to think about it and then test later. Lol thanks!

Update: I am in shock right now and cautiously optimistic. My beta was scheduled for this am. Last Thursday I got my period and it was a normal period for me. I just had gone through my 4th IUI and had a meeting Scheduled this week with my MD to discuss IVF. Went to the MD this am and had my blood drawn. Cried with the phlebotomist and RN that this IUI didn't work. I've been an emotional mess.

I got a call this afternoon telling me I am pregnant. My beta is 175. I am in complete shock and extremely nervous! I go back Wednesday for labs. Has anyone heard of someone having a true full period and then moving on to a true positive beta?

I had zero symptoms with this IUI and got a migraine as I usually do with the start of my period.

I had my iui on 12/26 and patiently awaiting results. I normally hold out until day 13/14 to poas but for some unknown reason I did it yesterday on day 8 and got a bfn :(. I know it still early but I was so bummed about it all day long and now not feeling very optimistic anymore.

@Tulips29 I also got a negative today but thankfully the trigger shot is out of me so for now on if it's a positive, then it's true. I had my IUI on the 28th. Are you having any symptoms? Hope you get that BFP!

@Jlowen2 I had some cramping after the iui and also the last 2 days. But today I feel fine and no other symptoms. Thank you! FX for you to get a BFP as well!

@Tulips29 thank you! I've been cramping and bloated, tender breasts, hot flashes, and flu like symptoms but I'm also taking progesterone so that could be it.
  • Options
@Jlowen2 I hope those are all good signs and not progesterone. I'm taking the suppositories as well, but haven't had major symptoms.

Hi everyone .. I recently met with a fertility specialist. She tested my husband (which he is fine). I had an HSG test done. The results were sent to my fertility specialist. From my understanding I believe my left tube is blocked or obstructed. Also, I do not ovulate. I meet with my specialist this week to speak about the results and where to go from here. My insurance doesn't cover anything with infertility. Does anyone know what options the specialist will offer? I'm assuming Chlomid but reading it seems like you take chlomid and do IUI... am I reading wrong or is that the usual process? Thank you

@Mullenk151 - I'm sorry you're going through this.  If you don't ovulate on your own a lot of times REs will start with clomid to see if that helps you develop follicles and then they may also prescribe an HCG trigger shot to trigger ovulation.  With the meds you can either do timed intercourse (less effective but often a first step) or an IUI.  Depending on how your body responds to clomid, your doctor may keep you on it or change it up next time if your first cycle doesn't result in pregnancy.  Make sure to ask your doctor any questions you might have.  Good luck!

Sorry to be reading about the BFNs from this thread.  GL to those of you still in your TWW!
