Infertility

Podcast I wanted to share about the struggles of this journey

Hi Ladies-  This board has been so helpful to me on my journey and  I wanted to share this with everyone.

A friend of mine sent me the info for this podcast and I listened to it the other night and really felt that it was something that anybody in the TTC boat could relate too.

The main topic is about infertility, but they do discuss some of the other emotions that many of us have gone through while on this roller coaster ride.

It is done by a pastor and his wife about their struggles with Infertility and there is some mention of God and prayer, church services, etc, however not so much of it that if you aren't big into faith that I don't feel you'd be turned off by it anyways.

So here is the info: I downloaded the app podbean to access the podcast.  The speaker is Steve Wiens and its called This Good Word.  I put his name and This good Word into the podbean app and it pulled up all his stuff.  Its episode 16 that you would want to go too.

It was about an hour long and it touched on quite a few different things about this process that I just really felt we could all relate too, because so much of it applies to all of us, whether we are in the infertility side of things or not.

I hope you will find it helpful if you listen too it and I hope its not too "churchy" if you are not a church person.

@MNturnsVA  Thanks for sharing this podcats, I really enjoyed the episode about infertility. It was so honest and inspiring. I am not a christian but I really loved it. I started to listen other episodes and I could not relate to some of the biblical parts but I liked the spirituality.
  • I did end up listening to it and it was just wonderful. Made a tear up a few times. They really understand what it is like as they lived it for so many years. It might be enlightening to others who don't struggle.

  • Thank you for sharing! I've been looking for a new podcast. I've been listening to Beat Infertility, which is great too! They have become my daily trips to work and home.
  • Glad those who listened to it enjoyed it or found it helpful.  I really thought that it related well to the journey as a whole not just those struggling with infertility issues & thought it was well done.  Because we all have our crazy moments or have to worry about putting aspects of our life on hold or have a partner to walk this journey with but sometimes we don't always see eye to eye or even relate to the same thing in the same way, especially if it's a male.  They just aren't usually built to process things, especially emotions the same way we are.  I was going to have my husband listen to it too.
  • Thank you for sharing this, I really enjoyed it. A lot of it was what I needed to hear right now.
