Well Christmas Eve we didn't get the NT test results we'd been hoping for. Although our ultrasound looked fine, the blood work came back a little off. We opted to do a CVS test to find out if anything was really wrong and have been waiting on the results since. In the meantime I did a ton of searching on Dr. Google (I know never recommended, but I couldn't help it) and in all my findings couldn't discover any real issues but boy they sure make you think so, talking to the genetic counselor! Anyway I am very, very, very happy to report the doctor called today to say everything came back normal!!!!
So for those of you getting ready to do your NT test, don't put too much weight on those statistics. I think more often than not, people fair better than they're given hope to!

@Lindsayleigh1989 I do agree with you. I just couldn't help myself in this case. It seemed so strange to me to have such a great ultrasound and then for them to make us think things could be so badly wrong!! Going forward, I promise not to "visit" Dr. Google unless absolutely necessary, lol.
