I'm still breastfeeding my 2.5 year old boob lover. Anyone else still nursing? I imagine I'll wean her well before September, but then again, I have been thinking I'll wean her next month for the last 18 months!

I nursed DD until she was 19 months old. By that point DS was 6 months old, so I've tandem nursed. He kept nursing until he was 13 months, three months into my pregnancy with DS2. Now DS2 is 10 months, and I'm pregnant again. I'll keep nursing him until he self weans, but I'm really hoping not to tandem nurse again simply because it created a massive oversupply last time and I'd like to avoid that again. I actually don't mind nursing two babies or nursing while pregnant.
If you want any resources, I loved the insights from Adventures in Tandem Nursing. It saved my sanity when I found out that I was having babies 13 months apart, and I had no desire to switch to formula. I needed that research to present my case for it being safe to my OB (not that she had the final say anyway). I barely kept my supply through my pregnancy (we were down to drops the last week), but we made it with great support from my La Leche League leader and pediatrician (who happen to be married to each other). It's nice having medical personal who embraced tandem and extended nursing and actually had experienced it with their own children.
