NBR: The Bachelor

Okay, so being a Bachelor viewer is definitely a very guilty pleasure of mine.  Anyone else excited for the Bachelor?

I watch it a day later on Hulu, so Ben H's dreaminess will have to wait until Tuesday...

Re: NBR: The Bachelor

  • Definitely not a current Bachelor fan, but I'm thinking about making that my MOTN binge show for when baby comes. Do you have a favorite season you'd recommend?

  • I haven't seen all the seasons.  I watched the first few, then took a break, then have seen some of the more recent ones.  Chris Soule's season was pretty boring (he was last year's bachelor), but I thought the last Bachelorette was entertaining -- Kaitlyn Bristowe.  I'll have to look at a list of some of the other seasons to jog my memory!
  • Yes! Guilty pleasure, for sure. DH absolutely hates it but I love the drama!
  • @JessicaB0627 -- I do, too.  I don't care that producers and the editing team can totally manipulate the storyline... it's more entertaining that way. :)

I'm not into a lot of TV shows, but I started watching Quantico last night.  Love. it.  Plus, my H likes that muuuch better than having to sit through the Bachelor. ;)
  • Ooooh, I didn't think about the Bachelorette. That might be even better.
  • I love watching it with DH... We have the best time making fun of it. DH's comments are hilarious. We've talked about trying to get on the show anonymously so that we can travel and go on all the awesome dates.

Amen! This is me exactly. My mom, sister, and I have all watched it together since it started way back when. DH is ready to evacuate the living room at 8 sharp.

I personally like the bachelor better because there's more girl drama. The men on the bachelorette are whiny and get on my nerves most of the time!
  • The Kaitlin Bristowe season this summer was the first season I've ever watched and let's face it, I don't have anything better to do on Monday nights.  I will be watching.  Funny story is that I was watching the hockey playoffs and DH was watching the Bachelorette and got hooked, so I started watching it so that I could bond with him and spend time together after we put the twins to bed.

  • Love the bachelor! Me, my sister and our two best friends watch it every Monday. We even have matching shirts that say wine, bachelor and yoga pants. Sad to miss out on the wine part this season though.
  • DH & I were in tears from laughing so hard at this season's premier!!! Oh dear. The crazies make that show SO entertaining!! haha
  • Okay, I finished watching the premiere last night.  These ladies aren't doing much for womankind, that's for sure!  We get such a good laugh from it.

I hadn't read any spoilers ahead of time, so I didn't know what Becca and Amber came back.  Amber has been on the Bachelor, Bachelor in Paradise, and the Bachelor again all in a year's + time.  That's wild!  And desperate.
