Pink spotting at 20 wks

I have been spotting pink most of the day. No tissue, but cramping on right side. Could this possibly be just a kidney infection or a UTI? I haven't had any symptoms of such, but looking for advice pls!

    Could be either, could be neither. Could be a friable cervix, if you had sex recently. Could be a placental tear. Is the baby still kicking (or if you have a HR monitor, can you still hear regular beating?)
    There's no harm in checking in with your doctor, they'll probably want to make sure all the baby's vitals are fine. If you have a kidney infection you'll want to get that treated anyway.

    You should basically always call your doctor for spotting to see if they want to check it out prior to your next appointment.

    I have an appt on Tuesday for my A/S. Currently the spotting has stopped, but it really has me freaked out! I called the dr on call at my office and should be getting a call back soon!

    Also, do some reason the app posted my discussion twice so pls ignore the second post!
