Good bra during pregnancy?

Hi guys...

Wondering if any of you have a recomendation for a good bra to purchase for growing boobs? I'm usually a 34 B, but whenever I gain or lose weight my boobs are always the first place to feel it so I'm guessing they will be getting bigger over the next few months.

Thanks in advance for your help!

I'd love to hear if anyone has any suggestions also. I'm on the hunt for a comfortable bra. Kind of like a regular bra/sports bra hybrid. I hate underwires but hate the uni-boob look I get from sports bras.

I've found some bralettes at VS that don't have an underwire but they are thin and lacey (lacy sp?). I need more coverage that that!

I had the same issue :( I wear a hard-to-find size (30DD) so most brands like VS are out for me. The only underwire-free ones I found in my size that fit ok were Wacoal and B. Tempted but yeah, they're small and lacy. I also just got my size in the mail last week (the bralettes I ordered just come by band size) and not only were the girls almost busting out, but assuming this little poppyseed sticks I'm sure they'll be getting bigger. So I'm returning the lacy bras. If all else fails I'll have to go with sports bras, but man are those unsexy!

  • Motherhood Maternity is having major sales on bras today. Most of them are nursing bras, but some are not! Might be worth checking it out.
  • Victoria's Secret just made a new wireless bra that's really soft and comfy. Some of the colors are even on clearance in stores for their semi-annual sale (which is nice since it's usually a $40 bra). It's called the Body by Victoria Lounge Bra.

  • I haven't looked for comfy bras yet-but Bare Necessities is one of my favorite site to order bras. They are always have sales, free shipping and have odd sizes. I'm already a 34 G. I'm screwed...
  • I used VS no underwire bras with my first. I was having a lot of rib pains during the whole 3rd tri. If I were you, I'd wait till you need new ones. You don't know what will be comfortable till later on (nor will you know sizes).

  • One more thought, I was just checking out Old Navy, and they have nursing bralettes for cheap. They look like they may not have a ton of support though.

  • Seriously my favorite bras are all nursing bras...I would go check them out at Buy Buy Baby- I still wear them and stopped nursing more than a year ago..

  • I definitely need some ideas, too.  I've already outgrown most of my bras (I'm left wearing stretched out sports bras right now, which aren't giving me any support) and I'm only 4 weeks, 6 days!  I would just go bra-less (something I did regularly pre-pregnancy), but I'm finding myself needing support and something in between my nipples and shirt (both for comfort and because I've got perma-highbeams going on).

I wear an odd size pre-pregnancy (28D/DD), too, so finding something that fits in the band is hard for me.  Even bras with a 30 band are too big for me and ride up terribly, so shopping in brick-and-mortar stores is nearly impossible unless I'm buying bralettes.  Usually, I buy my bras from an online store based in Poland, but that's not really an option for me right now, since I'm sure I'm going to be outgrowing them pretty regularly and underwire is a (literal) pain.

I have no idea what to do.

  • I loved the sports bra style nursing bras from target. I actually can't wait to get back in them
  • My regular bras are too small now and I'm not sure what to do. Get a cheap bra to wear for a while in case they get bigger? Get a nursing bra now to spread out costs? For those of you who aren't first time moms, what worked for you?
  • I wear the VS bras with no underwire and they are so comfy for me - and when I started to outgrow them last pregnancy I just bought a band expander to extend their life. Now I wear them normally because my boobs shrunk after my loss. There's a store called Jezebel's in PA that I used to shop at that had great support/no underwire but I don't know if they have an online store.

The bands are too small, or the cups? If you can make due with the cups but the band is too tight, you can buy a band extender for now.

  • The Body By Victoria Lounge Bra FTW!!! I was wearing this even before becoming pregnant, and it is, hands down, the comfiest bra I've ever worn. I highly recommend
  • Ohhhh laa laa thanks @mali0902
